Funny story! Me and 2 friends saw you live a couple years ago, I hadn’t really listened to your music except a singular song (this one) that helped me get over a break up. I didn’t know which songs you would play that night, but this one ended up being one of them. One of the friends I was with was who the breakup was with, and I ended up screaming singing this in front of them! I definitely lost my voice that night

I literally cannot get enough of this song!! It's so bittersweet and I love the lyrics, and the instruments, and the singing, and just.. everything about it? Yeah, that seems about right. Especially the part at the end where instead of cutting it off it finally goes "and I'll wake up and she won't be mine" like this song hurts but it hurts SO good. It makes my heart sad but it makes my ears happy. Alright there's my rant about how much I love this song xD

This song hit so hard when I first heard it. I was quickly and deeply falling in love, and thought I had no chance, we spent so much time together, and I just wanted to be with them, not all the lyrics fit the situation perfectly, but still I would listen to this song constantly, (it became my number 1 song of the year on spotify wrapped), and I am absolutely privileged and ecstatic to say that we are now happily dating and have been together for almost a year! We laugh now about it and they think it’s so endearing whenever I still sing it at times, smiling, knowing that in the morning, the sun will rise, and I’ll wake up and they are mine❤🥰
