An update of this song - recorded for a CD to go with the launch of Willie Hershaw's latest poetry collection. A much better recording and sucha pleasure to sing these beautiful words - but I can hear the difference a quarter century has made to my voice. Slide show is the same too.

Now that has brought a tear. Remembering those days as a bairn when we were all in the same situation skint but happy. My Father was born in the Happy Lands. Lochgelly Glencraig Crosshill Lochore and Ballingry All hold a Special Place in our memories.

Thanks. Grandpa and Grandes Guild llived for many years in Lochgelly. First on Lumphinnans Road, later in Francis Street. The video belicht back many memories
