It's theorized that the person playing opposite Pierro on the chess board is the Tzaritsa herself since the chess piece moves telekinetically with an icy effect. It would make sense too since she is playing the white pieces which represents the archons and their allies, she would have deep insight on how they might work. It's also theorized that the inazuma gnosis is a knight piece since that is what we see "kill" the pawn which represents signora.

10:06 According to Childe’s CN dialogue, the “strengths” he’s referring to is more about different capabilities rather than raw/brute strength/power. So perhaps its not necessarily that #1 is strongest and Childe (#11) is the weakest but more about what duties they take according to their individual skills. This nuance makes things more interesting xD

Some fun info about each harbinger and their Italian names for you Abra Pulcinella: “The rooster”, old guy with the big nose. In comedia de l’arte, he is depicted as having a hooked or beak-like mask, in genshin they decided to give him a beak like nose. He is also the mayor of Schneznaya Pantalone: “The regrator” the very pretty Baizhu looking guy with the black hair. The richest of all the fatui, and not just in mora alone it is said. He runs the northland bank branches in every nation and is the head of economic affairs in schneznaya Pierro: “The jester” the very first of the fatui harbingers, and the one who recruited Signora and Scaramouche. Based on his mask design and eyes, it is theorized he hails from Khanriah. He is the leader of the fatui and is the one fatui member we know somewhat definitively is ranked as THE strongest harbinger Columbina: “The damselette” the girl you saw singing over Signoras coffin. Her Italian name means “little dove” and in comedia de l’arte, she is married to Pierro, but cheats on him with Arlecchino, the Knave Arlecchino: “The Knave” The knave or “harlequin” is the girl with the red xs in the eyes, and is one of the more antagonistic characters in the comedia. He is the lover of columbina and is brash, bold, and aggressive. It’s very interesting genshin has made this character female rather than male. “Capitano”: “the captain” The man in all black and with no visible face. He is depicted in the comedia as a soldier who is mostly all talk and little action. It is theorized he is the head of the military of scheznaya and as Childe says, he is apparently quite the formidable fighter. Dottore: “The doctor” The guy with the blue hair and holding the blue vial. In the comedia, he and Pantalone usually clash, so maybe we will see them doing so in the next few updates. He is also featured heavily in the genshin manga but looks very different to how he looks now. As Childe says, it’s theorized he can make clones of himself at different points in his life and send them around doing missions. Sandrone: “the puppet” the girl held by the large machine guy. This archetype is typically depicted in the comedia as a wife, a husband and their child, and was first introduced in the comedia as a collection of puppets, hence her name. It could be that the machine is also kind of a “joint harbinger” along with her.

I seriously urge everyone to read the genshin manga before playing version 3.0. Its just a short 16 chapter manga with 20 pages per chapter. Collei's apperance and her dreaming about Dottore in the trailer makes so much impact here. And trust me you're gonna love Collei and Amber and the other mondstadt characters even more after reading the manga. Specially smug Diluc.

I think the divine gaze is the gaze of Celestia, because the gnosis gives you connection to Celestia, right? The "divine knowledge cannot be rationally comprehended" might be the knowledge he got from obtaining the gnosis, and the divine gaze could be Celestia watching over the new holder of the gnosis. Idk that's just a theory. a game theory

Divine gaze was a concept Dainsleif also mentionned in the teyvat chapter trailer, something along the lines of "and in a corner of the universe, a place where the divine gaze does not fall, there is people who dream of dreaming" (referring to Kaehenri'ah) So yeah, Divine Gaze most likely the spying/knowledge of Celestia

Not sure if anyone’s beaten me to it, but on the chessboard at the beginning of the preview, Venti’s gnosis is strongly speculated to be the queen. Do with that information what you will. There’s a lot more to him than he’s letting on. I want to say Zhongli’s resembles a rook, but if I’m wrong, please correct me. We never got to see Ei’s gnosis, so whatever hers may be still remains unknown to us - can’t wait to find out when the time comes though!

Alright two very important things, the video actually continues for the teaser, so there's actually more stuff about Sumeru, and 2nd we actually know who each of the fatui are as they are all in the teaser video, you should be able to look up to make their images with their names.

Her song is hauntingly beautiful and I theorize she is in charge of the Fatui intelligence network, she might be able to telepathically communicate, she is a Seelie who has not turned into the wisp-like Seelies!

looking back on this now, the "divine gaze" refers to the gnosis, and scaramouche using it for his own is him "conquering it" damn. they foreshadowed hard.

i thought abra wouldnt watch this pv because of spoilers but this is perfect the snezhnaya region wouldnt come out for years, and the childe voice line is in the game already anyway, so its not really a spoiler as long as he doesnt watch the end of that pv, the rest of it is pretty much safe (and really awesome)

I don't understand how anyone would thing the rest of the trailer is a spoiler. It's obvious it happens before we'll get to Sumeru, so if that's a spoiler so was the entire video.

(I promise there are no spoilers here, only my own speculations!) Oooh, it's interesting that you and a few other people read the line about how "checkmate is not where the game ends" as "Signora's death may not be the end of her." I do think that's a valid read, and of course I'd be down for her to come back, but I read it more as "the 'game' doesn't end where you'd expect it to" which is....more vague but also intrigues me a ton. The most obvious interpretation I can think of is "getting al 7 gnoses isn't the end, just the beginning" since they were on the chessboard, and there are already a lot of hints in-game that the Fatui and Abyss Order may have some uh... interesting future plot developments in store wrt their goals and trajectory. Also, I'm so hyped to see all the harbingers' actual outfits... I think Hoyo was very intentional in dressing them all in near-identical white cloaks with just the chest area showing, and I suspect seeing more of their actual outfits will tell us a lot more about them as characters! (Also wow Hoyoverse really did just come for every single person who has a thing for hot villain characters, my god...)

i understand why you didn't watch the very very end due to teasers for the next region, but definitely go back and watch it when you won't consider it a spoiler! especially since there was one more intense scene before that that wasn't related to future characters.

I went back and watched the vod after I caught the end of your stream the other day so understand why you did not watch the end but I think the voicelines spoiled that a bit, everything else there is no context for yet unless it is mentioned in the manga ( I just read the prologue myself yesterday) I watched an Italian Opera singer reacting to this and he gives more history on what the harbingers are based on. They are from a style of Italian opera called Commedia Dell’Arte. A Lazzo is actually a "Joke" where the actors would talk to the audience and each other about contemporary subjects. That may mean something in this context, probably similar to what the chessboard layout may hint at. Might be worth a watch for historical significance of the names. honestly skipping the last part was just dumb, its not a spoiler if its hoyoverse themselves showing it to you, get a grip. its a TEASER to hype up Sumeru storyline. ive been following this channel and abra's voyage in genshin since day1 but he's not a newbie anymore, stop "protecting him". Also the whole "avoid spoilers at all costs" sounds hypocritical at this point, after him skipping a banner to summon Raiden, which was fine but still contracdictory.
