There is much debate over the existence of hell - is it real or not? Jesus himself spoke about hell more than anyone else in the Bible. What you believe about hell could cost you your life… Do you know the truth about the reality of hell?

When I heard Pastor Greg Laurie say "If you have a different opinion about the Bible, change your opinion", that was my "kick against the goads". I woke up. I was interpreting the Bible the way I wanted to live.

@@FrankPCarpi You forget why people go to hell in the first place. They go there for not having Faith for dying for our sins. We must admit we are sinners that have sinned against God. Why doesn't the LSD neighbor just believe in Jesus for his salvation? Not too hard. I did none of the things Hitler did and yet I'm completely deserving of Hell for my multitude of sins. Thank God for Jesus Christ's gift of Salvation!

Many clergy contribute to the non-belief in hell (all denominations). As a 30 year nurse, I have witnessed many deathbed confessions of people denouncing God and Jesus and then when their last breath is taken, the family states out loud, “so happy he or she is in heaven now”. Then clergy comes to comfort the family and the family is told that the decedent is in heaven whether they believed in God or not. The other one I cringe at is when people say that someone died and “becomes an angel”. Nope 🤦🏻‍♀️

Wow! I feel so sad for that "bishop" listening to the whispers of the devil in his ear. If he spent anytime in the word at all he would know not only is hell real, but any revelation he received that would be contrary to what God provides us in the bible, should be tossed out likes yesterdays trash. Why is it so hard to get into heaven? Heaven must be practically empty where hell is overflowing. Remember only 8 people in the entire world was saved during the flood of Noah's time, and in Sodom and Gomorrah only Lot and his daughters...so many Christians who think they're going to heaven are going to be shocked when they hear Jesus tell them 'depart from me, I never knew you'

False preachers will "tickle the ears" of those who will listen and accept false teaching because it fits into their "lifestyle". But now we have a "battle plan" to defend the reality of Hell through this teaching, clear, concise and on point! Thank you Pastor Jack for giving us the "verbal tools" we need to defend the Word of GOD in such a clear manner. Sometimes when I defend it, it is hard not to get emotional, because you hurt for the unsaved, but this was a Great way to present the topic. "Gentle as a Dove....wise as a Serpent".... Please pray for my brother, David. He left home in Ohio to attend bible college in Tulsa some years ago to become a minister. He got involved with the teachings of Carlton Pearson and Depak Choplar and begun questioning the Word of God. He walked away from biblical teaching. Our dad raised us in the Word from small kids. I’m believing for him on that Scripture that says, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Lord God, please bring my brother back.😢🙏❤️

That was excellent Pastor Jack. The whole time that ex mega church preacher spoke , all that I heard was satan talking to Jesus in the wilderness. Believers dont be deceived by man, stick to the word of God. The blood of Jesus was shed on that cross for all of us, for our sins, he went to hell in our place, our judgements he took upon himself. You just have to call out for Jesus and believe in your heart and you will be saved. Ask for forgiveness of your sins. His word is truth.

Being a death experiencer and having touched Gods unconditional love I use to think, how on earth could there even an opposite to this, for many years I never subscribed to a hell, yet the day after my return I felt darkness all around me like I was swimming in it. Yet I some how put it down to peoples own negativity, not as an actual evil. As of recently that has all changed I have seen the Evil and experienced it first hand, the moment I started to pursue the Bible and Christianity, I was attacked and continued to be attacked! Debra Waters, Yes, we should take God's words as spoken. However I noticed that Pastor Hibbs didn't seem to do that in this sermon. When he spoke of Matthew 25:41, he said, "everlasting torment/everlasting fire." The words, everlasting fire, are in that verse, but the words, everlasting torment ARE NOT. Wish Pastor Hibbs would just use the words the Bible uses instead of adding his own (or church tradition) interpretation to it. I can not find any verse in the Bible that says that the punishment of everlasting torment is the fate of anyone other than the devil, the beast, and the false prophet. Torment is mentioned in the (parable?) of the rich man and Lazarus, but it says nothing about the torment lasting forever. For the unbeliever, Jesus speaks many times about perishing, the second death, everlasting destruction from his presence - very different words than eternal torment. If Jesus would have wanted us to believe in eternal torment for all unbelievers, I think he would have used those very words, don't you? One more thing, even in Matthew 25:46, the words used are everlasting punishment, NOT everlasting torment - big difference. The punishment of the second DEATH in the Lake of Fire IS everlasting, no chance after THAT death to accept the eternal life he offers us now.

My sister asked me about this verse in Malachi 4:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts. One of my friends was in a car accident and died for 10 or so minutes. The EMT's brought her back and took her to the hospital. She was not a Christian. She told me that when she died, demons came to get her and they beat her body. She said she was in agony. I said to her, "Oh Julie, please accept the Lord God. He has given you a chance to know him." - not verbatim but pretty close. I don't know if she ever accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior. I know that I prayed for her. She died several years later of CHF. God rest her soul.

Thank you pastor Jack for teaching whole council of God. I was in one of those church, pastor was teaching only grace of God, (Romans 1:1-17 ) but Not the wrath of God(Romans1:18-32). He was Pretty much like that pastor you had on the screen. Also, he drank the beer, when we had potluck. fellowship.

Hi! I love listening to you and your friends! When I got the Holy Spirit I was very happy. My parents died when I was 11 and 12yrs old. I was saved when I was 17 and I kept praying for God to show me who He is. One night I left my body. I was standing in total darkness but I heard like a million voices and I started to notice all around me their were people. They weren't touching me but they knew I was there and they jostled around like they all wanted to see me and there were more than I could count. It was terrifying!!! Then in my mind I knew I had to say something " though I walk thru the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for Thou art with me. Then bam! The light. I won't say about the rest. I was wondering about all those people. Are they people that didn't know God?

We are taught that Christ paid for the sins of "all of humanity" through his death on the cross, yet at the sametime we are taught that the penalty for sin is unending eternal torture for those same sins we were forgiven for.

When people in the Bible are sacrificing their children to Molech by throwing them in fire, it is viewed as an indescribable evil, but when our God torments people in fire without end, it's considered holy and good. Do you see how there could be a problem there???

Hey..just Google testimonies on people who actually went to hell..a woman woke up from sleeping hearing her husband downstairs, screaming..because he had an experiencial experience of being in hell. He just kept saying,Pray for me,pray for me...

There are a few religions that teach no hell. WWCofG being one of them. Pastor said it correctly. God sends no one to hell. They choose it. You can’t have one foot in each side. It’s one side or the other. With Him or against Him. I CHOOSE with Him. Acts 3:14-20 John 1:1-4 Repent... change your mind about Who Jesus is and what He did for you. It’s the most loving act anyone could ever do for you. Eternal life with Him where there’s no more tears. No more sorrow. I CAN HARDLY WAIT. Hallelujah! Thank you Lord Jesus.

As long as mainstream Christianity continues to hold on to the belief of an eternal hell, they also hold on to the belief that God's power is not powerful enough to rid the New Heavens and the New Earth of evil and suffering completely.
