A good character use and a good plot twist but I kinda expected it. It felt weird Volo was all the damn time at the most crucial times at the most important events that happened. And that one tongue slip at Cogita's house where he said "One of those Gingko mechants..." and Cogita was like: "You make it sound as if you were not a part of them"... Immediately confirmed my hunch.

No, Volo could be seen a mile away. You get straight up "knows too much", "always around at the most important moments", and "why is he obsessed with [insert legend here]?" vibes from him. Halfway through the game, I was always like, "I don't like you, I don't trust you, you're going to be evil." Now Beni being a ninja and going full kick-ass mode? Didn't see that one coming.

I'm really glad I put so much focus on catching and filling in the entries for the Pokedex throughout the game. By the time I got to that Volo fight, my team was 70s-80s, so that really evened things out and allowed me to beat him first try. But dang, was it a hard and surprising fight. I loved it. I even made sure when I confronted Arceus I had filled out every entry to 10, truly having completed the dex when I got him.

Man, I got off lucky winning the Volo/Giratina fight in one attempt. I went in with only a level 90 Decidueye, level 80 Garchomp, and a level 70 Arcanine.

You literally have to have a team full of level 80 Pokemon with you, cause this last battle screws you over big time. Especially when Giritina switches forms. I've had to take a break from this game to gather my bearings.

@ well to be fair. lumiose is more under leved than you. which is more impressive. since most of the times his are around level 68-70. although he did use a lot revives. but i mean come on. this is the toughest boss battle in Pokemon history. double than cynthia. i hear a lot of people using level 100 Pokemon with items. and they still suffer from it. so i think it is a norm to be over leveled and using items. i won't be surprise if Pokemon challenges can't hold the bearings that he force himself to use an item. despite being one of the nuzlocker in the world if he finally uploads a legends of arceus nuzlocke playthrough.

That fight was just insane. the only reason I managed to defeat volos is because I dragged his togekiss into a stallfest with my Sylveon which allowed me to heal up the rest of my team and still only won the battle with only the same Sylveon living with half health allowing me to land a dazzling gleam. Definitely the hardest battle in pokemon in my opinion.

I found it relatively easy took two resets and in comparison to cynthia now that took me a few hours with overleveled pokémon and I had to trade for legendaries to beat her.

The GIlscor impressions at 1:59 are scarily good. Also, on the Volo fight, this is why you spend hours getting to rank eight before fighting Origin Dialga/Palkia. I was leaps and bounds beyond all the trainer levels, even when I got to the funky merchant himself Samurott had a solid five or six levels on his mons. And it's a funny coincidence, everyone I've watched play this fight and everyone I know personally who's done it, including me, unintentionally came down to the wire and used their starter to finish off at least one form of Giratina.
