This might surprise ya all, but the one and only creature to ever give me absolute hell when taming as I kept trying time to time for days to ultimately no avail was the Sinomacrops. Even if you trap him with the fishing baskets, the bastard will just decide at once to not wanna be tamed (mostly when you're finally about to give him the last or penultimate feed), that or some pesky-ahh predator will just come over and ruin everything.
You have severely undersold the Rhyniognatha.... The Rhyniognatha's offspring will inherit the stats of either parent, but those stats will be reduced based on the level of the parent Rhyniognatha and the drag weight of the other tame, and the cravings. For 100% stat transfer, you need a level 150 Rhyniognatha AND a Brontosaurus/Brachiosaurus. SO! Let's take it from the top: 1- You need to find Brontosauruses with GOOD stats. Rhynio's are an all-arounder type of tame, so you'll want good HP, Melee, Weight and Stam. 2- You need to breed your Brontosauruses to get a perfect bronto. 2.1- You need to tame a FEMALE Hesperonis. 2.2- You need to tame a FEMALE Carcha. 2.3- You need to tame a FEMALE Giga. 2.4- You need to tame a FEMALE Quetz. 2.5- You need to acquire some Honey (not too hard, just potentially tedious to find). 2.6- Acquire some Black Pearls. 2.7- You need to kill at least ONE of the bosses, and keep 5 element "just in case" 3- You need to find a male Rhyniognatha and kill it for the pheromone. 3.5- You might want to find multiples, just in case the first Rhynio is a bust. 4- You need to find a LEVEL 150 female Rhyniognatha, or deal with the fact that you'll get reduced stats. 5- You need to weaken said female and get it to impregnate your Bronto(s). 5.5- Pray to the RNG gods that one of your Bronto's get the good stats. 6- You need to satisfy the cravings, which can be a number of items, including: Golden Hesperonis Eggs, Carcha & Giga eggs, or Element. Failure to satisfy the tame's cravings will result in fewer bonus levels for your baby Rhyniognatha. 6.5- Pray to the RNG gods that the bonus levels don't go into O2 or Food... 7- Once the Rhyniognatha is born, you have to do the usual imprinting stuff, keep it fed yadda yadda.
**deep exhale** The Shadowmane, Astrocetus, Noglin, Amargasaurus & Megachelon can be trivialized with traps. The Troodon can be trivialized with traps, and pheramone darts. The Titans just require you to be able to aim, and Titanosaur can be frozen in place by a Rhyniognatha, which makes taking the shot SOOOOO much easier.
@@eliarthur6868 For the server I'm on, I'd have to get a bronto with 60+ in the main 4 stats, and mutate those stats to make a bronto with 100 in everything. Then make a rhynio with all those stats. Might take... 400 pheromones. Edit: And thousands of smashed eggs.
My easiest way to tame a Titanosaur was my luckiest. If you manage to get the Titanosaur that spawns in the frost biome on the Island, then you can lead it down the waterfall. Because you have not blocked it's path, and it feels like it can escape, you can set up on the cliff face across from the waterfall and bombard it with canons. That's the only time I could tame it on Solo...
Honestly one that might be on this list is the new Fasolasuchus. It's just simply annoying as hell to tame. It knocks you off for the stupidest reasons and because of that, it takes forever. I tamed one on a slightly boosted server, maybe 3x I think and dude, it still took me 5 to 6 hours.
The Reaper is not hard to tame, as it may seem at first glance. I don't understand why you should build a trap, lure the queen there, shoot her, if you can just take a fat drake and beat her on it. She'll take you off the saddle and impregnate you herself. I've tamed the reaper more than once, and it's always worked without any trap. The trap is usually used to get the whole tribe pregnant from one queen, but in this case it is also done with the floor
there are a bunch of guides on this. but all you have to do is make waypoints for a bunch of salt clusters in the desert close together. The faso doesn't lose torpor or taming effectiveness while driving or even kicking you off, so you can take as much time as you need. Tamed several 140-150s on 1x official no problem. One of the easier passive tames in the game. Like its easier than taming Yuty on ASA.
@robertge648 Agree to disagree. It might not be a complex taming process, but the fact that you randomly lose control while hitting rocks and that the explorer note ruins immediately dismount you makes it much harder than it should be. Reapers and Rhynios are easy in comparison. Trap the creature, hurt the creature, get impregnated or have your tame get impregnated, then repeat. I've never quit a rhynio or reaper taming like I have after the dozen or so times I got dismounted from a fassolo.
Most of these I will never even try to tame.. too complicated or just plain annoying. Why make it so nearly impossible that you would have to research how to do it?
Title should be The Most annoying creatures to tame in Ark Because of my experience and because the creator of the video said annoying more then hardest 😂
The only thing that is hard with the Pheonix is finding it. Best thing to do is to find it when it's in its dormant state and build a bunch of walls around it so when it is reborn during a heatwave, you just start setting it on fire with something like a fire wyvern.
