This was taken from my stream on April 12th, 2022! Catch me live Monday to Friday here: / northernlion I love going back to Sporcle once every 4 months and seeing if my brain has aged!!!
‘I can’t think of a European country that starts with united’ he says after guessing that the United Kingdom was the most populous country in Europe. Never change NL
I searched for this in Google Maps in Europe (just Europe), and there are like four hits total, of which one is in Budapest and definitely isn't a Burmese restaurant, but rather Thai.
Specification would give away that it's probably diagonal, even though orthogonal isn't possible given the clue. I agree its probably better to specify
I like how some of the tips are just "Iceland is in B3" and some of of them are like "If there is a country that starts with E in row 4, then there will also be a country that starts with M"
These make me feel smart because I do so well on the ones he misses (and poorly on all his correct ones) Also how is he missing the restart button on that country puzzle??? Edit: it only took him 5 tries to find it holy pog
he guesses skiping steps making some clues redundant. "if finland is in this quiz..." was pointless since we already random guessed france the quiz really expected you to solve it in a very specific order
I don't know if this is just because I'm a dumb American with genuinely ass geography skills, but holy shit the average person taking these quizzes is built different
Selection bias, the people who would willingly take a sporcle quiz guessing the countries around a country are not the average “which shape is not a square” quiz takers
When contemplating the most populated country in Africa, I immediately thought for sure either Egypt or South Africa. Not even close dude. Egypt only has 100 million people. South Africa only has 59 million (shocking to me). But Nigeria has over 200 million people. Two thirds of the entire population of the United States, is in a country that's only a third larger than Texas.
I’m convinced NL doesn’t know Russia is in Europe, how could he think a country with 68 million people has a bigger population than 150 million in Russia
If B1 needs to be a two word asian island country, timor leste should still work for it as well. Weird that they would end it with a potential double answer (even if it isnt the entire island it still fits the definition of an island country as it doesn't have any land on a continental mainland)
