yeah sadly the game had to many flaws at the end for me... i like to play 1 char only but with this game u MUST play multiple... also the books/cards/items are expensive so at some point i got kicked from static cause i didnt have 5 5s in BIS ... and i dont think that got any better so there is 0 intention/incentive to return... cause i still need books and everything... only if they give out all for free i would be able to return... and then i have new expensive stuff where i need a buttload of chars...
@@luxaly9510 not sure if you saw but last month they added an update for new / returning players, powerpass to 1520, mokoko event to 1600 :) also solo raids up to 1600 ilvl (every raid except thae and echidna)
@@luxaly9510 and free 5x3 engraving, free lvl 7 + 3 lvl 8 gems. game still isnt perfect, actually it still pretty bad (coming from someone whos been playing since release) but im sure still fun for people to return to at least try out newer raids.
i figured the more i watch this fight, the more i'll understand it. I am also surprised because we all watched saintone's video on her, and it seems asmon had forgotten all of it. But that's okay cause he learned it eventually. Well maybe except for the shape part.
Haha I stopped playing Lost Ark after remembering Guzu watching the hard mode of this fight and realizing my brain was a potato and it looked too stressful. Watching him do the first mechanic and not call it for people hurt my soul, that was the most memorable part haha
@@fragoulis5 it's more pay for faster progress I would say but if you play the game for a while you can keep up with endgame Ilvls without too much issue. And ilvl isn't everything you can out DPS People with a decently higher ilvl with skill And no matter how high ilvl you still need To do mechanics like I would way rather have a on ilvl person who knows the raid Than a maxed out whale who wipes the raid

@@fragoulis5it’s not really p2w, but you really gotta put in hours to learn the fights/raids, and do dailies becuz u want to catch up. Once you’ve gotten your “roster”, basically 6 different characters but one is your main, you can chill and just do raids, but if u want to do new content on release, you would have to grind dailies. It’s this endless cycle of doing stuff to “catch up”. I’ve put a good amount of hours in but I haven’t played in a long time
Tera Online's raids and dungeons weren't so hard core. I mean there were lots of pizzas and whatnot in Shadow Sanguinary, but my favorite and cool without being a hassle like this one was Manaya's Core Hard Mode. Best dungeon ever. It had very unique mechanics and yet it wasn't so mind-blowing to the point of discouraging you, like this one. Plus the armors were the best ones in the game.

Random question but is Lost Ark ever going to advance the storyline? It feels like they have been doing nothing but adding these raids for months but not much else.
Why would anyone subject themselves to raids like these after a 9 to 5 job? I stopped playing as this was too much for my tedious work schedule. Thanks for Asmon who can punish himself for us. Many times I get into raids and people lose confidence much like that bard. It's enough managing the raid mechanics, but you also have to manage people's broken ego when they realize they need others.
I have 7 to 9 job. I play this game. It doesn't take too much to keep up with the content. Most people give up because FOMO. But I only play much as I want to and it seem to be enough.
i guess you need to find friends and play with them. The aim should be to get exp and not clear the raid. That's the only way to have fun. THen again if u work 9-5 5/7 with kids yeah it will be rough BUT its the same for all mmo's (except ffxiv)
I don't know but a specific part of my brain LOVES the feeling of memorizing the patterns and executing them right! Every time I do a raid for the first time with my friends they get tired after losing a couple of times or getting stuck, but I'm the opossite the more I get stuck the more satisfying it feels to conquer the challenge!
im 36. the days of me slamming my head against a keyboard for 10+ hours to beat a pixel boss are over. i dont see the progression and i dont feel accomplished after. more power to all of you that still can. ~tm
He has an en engraving which gives him a passive : low max health for dmg reduction and more stats like attack and movement speed but less healing and shield
Sad this game have absolutely unworthy storyline, the combat feels good, but I won't enjoy it at all without proper context, might as well hit a target dummy if you don't care about the story, cause there is none worthy mentioning here in LA. Shame on smilegate not at least force amazon to publish the full story of the game.
What are you talking about? AGS gets the patches from smilegate, all they do is publish it. We get what smilegate wants us to get at the pace they want us to get it at. We don't have the full story because they are mimicking the chronological release schedule of KR, except accelerated to catch us up somewhat. Additionally the story content in this game is ilvl gated/comes with content that is ilvl gated and not quite reachable for the playerbase, so releasing it would be literally pointless.
No matter how often I watch Lost ark raids, they are just not as impressive as wow or ff14 clears, because the game is too gear and thus rng dependant. not enough skill involved, when most of the mechanics you can only complete with enough gear.
