OK here's my Matador tips: - Get as many force null or even force resist demons as possible. Nozuchi is right in the hallway before Matador and he drains force so there's no excuse! The developers did this on purpose to help you! - Get a demon that buffs agility with Sukukaja. When Matador uses Red Capote, you can now spam Sukukaja 4 times and you're now on an even playing field. - Matador has dekunda, but not dekaja, so he can remove his debuffs but can't remove your buffs (he can use Taunt to reduce your defense though). So trying to debuff Matador is not so useful, instead focus on buffs, so use Rakukaja and Tarukaja to buff your team. (This happens with a lot of early Nocturne bosses - they'll only have either Dekunda or Dekaja so use debuffs or buffs as appropriate.) Sometimes you can debuff Matador once or twice without him spamming Red Capote or Dekunda, it varies sometimes but don't waste too many turns debuffing, it's not as useful as buffing. - Also, Nocturne is different than some other SMT's, we have a separate spell Makakaja that buffs all spells, and this includes healing spells! So if you're using Uzume and the Media is not healing enough, use Makakaja a few times and now Media will heal you fully! Remember if you fail to prepare, then prepare to fail. (EDIT: spacing)

Pro tip: if you're like me and didn't bring Sukukaja, debuff Matador's speed three times, but no more. He never uses Red Capote to regain his Sukukaja stacks, and him casting Dekunda for other debuffs doesn't affect his speed as its's still +1.
