I know this one isn’t as comedic as my others… sometimes a big part of my job is pushing through and throwing on a smile even when I’m having a bad day. I also wanted to say that if you ever lost a pet your’e not alone. A lot of people say it’s “no big deal” but pets are family and it is a big deal, and it’s ok to feel that sadness! Pixie left us in 2021 and I’ll never stop missing her ❤
I lost my dog recently this summer, and honestly I know how you feel in this situation. I had to go to see my favourite cousin to sleep over for 2 days, which was hard because I was definitely still grieving. I was crying so much. But I tried to stay happy for her, and also thought it might get it off my mind. But on the second day there, I just started crying and couldn’t stop..
i’m so sorry for your loss, i can’t imagine how hard it would have been to go onto a zoom call and be all smiley happy singing after that. I'm not going to pretend I know how hard it is. rest in peace Pixie
This made me tear up because one of my neighbours had a German shepherd called pixie too. She was the sweetest girl in the world and she loved me. She'd immediately recognise my squeaky shoes when I walked by as a kid. She'd stand guard the entire time i slept at their house as a baby. She'd even call someone if i woke up by any chance. She passed before I turned 5 and i still miss her over 10 years later. I hope she's getting all the cuddles and treats up there, she deserves it all and more

And at the same time stupidy. No hate and don't get me wrong. She was super strong for doing that but also death is no joke and you should let yourself have time to mourn. I lost my sister at 12 and went to school the next day like nothing happened. It backfired me later badly. should've taken some time off but I didn't and my mom didn't either, she also went to work

I’m so sorry for ur loss. I lost my dog who has been with me my entire life a year ago and it still hurts just as much as that night. I keep replaying the last image of her in my head and the promise I made to her that I would come see her (she was sitting at the base of our basement stairs and was so old she had to b carried up them and lifted onto furniture) in just a minute (I had to finish something first) and I have regretted not going down there and hugging and kissing her ever since. This is and probably always will b my biggest regret in life. Rest in peace Pixie and Violet ❤️ You were so so loved and still are.
My two childhood dogs died last december, less than a week apart. It’s truly a pain that is discounted by society, but it hurts more than if i were to lose a human i think

I lost my dog the same time you did. She was also with me my whole life. She had to be put down because of an emergency while I was at school, and I didn’t even get to say goodbye

Man’ I remember watching this 2 months ago at a really hard time in my life thinking about my only but all time best friend Joey, my orange tabby cat. He was my Joey bug, my bubs, my “first born” my everything. I remember thinking how hard it would be if I lost him and thinking, “ yeah it could be any day but probably not for awhile. Sobbing about just the thought of losing him. And yet here I am 2 months after’ watching this missing him so much! I tell him every night, sweet dreams may god bless you, see you in the morning my boyfriend says see you in the morning is symbolism. Joey passed 3 weeks ago at age 2 of a very sudden bob cat fever from a tick. A single tick destroyed my entire life. I mis him so freaking much the hardest thing in my entire life more than any “ real” family member passing. I love you Joey rest in piece bubs and keep your little brother and sister safe.

Its even worse when you remember that the parents could obviously see that she was upset and didn't do anything. They just let her continue instead of bringing her aside and asking what happened. Then letting her go while explaining to their child that her animal companion was sick and needed her care". Which a little child would have definitely understood.
@@saltycube Online rooms have chats they could have used to get her attention and ask if she was ok. Then having her mute the audio and turn off the camera while calling her in a seperate chat room. No one took the time to check if she was ok.

As a pet parent, I'd say it is absolutely devastating when we lose them. And it doesn't matter if they are old and you know it has to happen sometimes. It's devastating. I've lost several over the years, and it never gets easier. Bless you for trying to carry on under these circumstances. 😢

Awww… ♥️. Pushing through pain and loss is a part of life… the world doesn’t stop spinning and responsibilities keep going even in heartache. I have experienced this many times in my 50 years of life, even though I am not in this line of work.
RIP pixie. You are so strong to get through that. I know how it feels. Lost my dog (Hugo) who helped me get through a kidnapping and just as a support dog late 2022. Loosing a pet is pure pain. It’s like loosing a sibling. You are so strong to get through it, and I wish you (and everyone going through tough times like this) a swift and full recovery. They will forever rest in our hearts ❤

I am so sorry for your loss dogs are one of the hardest things to loose in your life time and I know how you feel. Yesterday me and my family found out my dog was dying and was really ill. So we had to put him down at a really young age, we haven’t even had him for three months he was still a baby. It’s so surprising on how much a dog can make an impact in your life. And I just want to let anyone that is reading this know you are not alone. It really sucks feeling this broken. But just know they are watching over you and want you to be happy and know you gave them the best home they could have. ❤

I'm so sorry for your loss, back in December before Christmas, we found out my dog Charlie had cancer and we had to put him down, and I know I could've stopped it.. your so strong for powering through
the same exact thing happened to my cat on may 2022. he had a tumor, we were checking on him and we had to say goodbye. I'm so sorry for your Pixie, rest in peace❤

OMG, I am so sorry. I so understand. I’m a teacher and my husband came to my classroom after a vet visit to tell me we had to put my beloved dog to sleep. It was overwhelming. I just sat there and cried in front of the children just like you. Hugs.
I’m so sorry ❤️ I know how that feels. My dog died on the day of our Christmas show and I had to do a big song about friendship for a solo. And the entire time I was holding back tears so that k could get through the song and the second it was finished I ran out of the room.

(I'm depressed, burned out and have general anxiety, but still) It's really impressive that you managed to get through the zoom event after that. Especially having to sing that song. So much respect to you. I had difficulty going to work the next day, kept balling my eyes out. Spent hours in my room crying and couldn’t even go downstairs because I didn’t want to see the cage. Took me a few days before I could accept it and I just hugged my baby’s cage for ten minutes crying my eyes out. Kudos to you for staying strong, sorry for your loss❤
I'm so sorry. I feel for you. My pet just died and the morning I found out I had to go to school. I had strings and the song we were playing sounded like a remembrance song. Same I found out late at night and I was devastated my duck had died.... my mom and step dad got I a huge argument and we left for a week maybe two and we had gone back to his house I was so excited to see my two ducks.. it was night time and I ran to the backyard and went to their huge pin...and I saw her in her house that she layed her eggs in and saw that she was just sitting there silently. I screamed her name and told her to wake up. I saw her face dropped over her back. I was screaming and crying. I was even crying the next day when I had school in the car and my mom took me to my grandmas because I was falling apart. I was so pissed him and his kids neglected my ducks and I am still upset about this. It happened last school year. I've been in therapy and it just made me more upset with him. There is more to it and I'm not being unreasonable there is more but I don't really wanna explain it all but I sis say "I never should have left her here" and he said "she blames me for the duck dying!" What an asshole it hurt so much and I'm so sorry that you to had to go through the pain of loosing an animal companion💔
