Impaction. What is it and how deadly is it? Sadly we learn about it in this video. Unfortunately it was at the cost of my favorite tarantulas life. THIS SUCKS!!! Goodbye Phoebe sweet girl. We will miss you. Thanks for watching. Um. Don't enjoy 😐🙄

So sorry for your loss 😢 such a beautiful girl ... I have seen in the past that q-tips soaked in warm water seems to work better than a pick but regardless it's never an easy thing to do what you had to , to put her out of any pain and suffering again so sorry for your loss...

Everyone keeps mentioning the q tip. I tried that as well. The pick was a last desperate attempt to save her and I was extra careful not to get anything but the blockage. It's hard enough to lose a T without everyone criticizing what I do.

So sorry for your loss, it would be nice to actually know what causes it in the first place, is diet a cause, so much money and time is spent reclassifying and renaming our T's, a little more should be spent on finding out why things like this happen. You did all you could, she had a great life im sure R.I.P 😔

So sorry for your loss 😥😥😥😥 Usually with impaction a wet Qtip is used to rub against the impaction and can work for future reference but again I am sorry for your los she was a beautiful "T" .. ❤❤🕷🕷❤❤

Wet qtip is like the tarantula icu. Everyone believes it works but it doesn't. But thanks for telling me something I already knew

If you catch it early enough a qtip MIGHT work. But with impaction, what you see on the outside is just the tip of the iceberg. Usually once you realize something is wrong it's too late
