It was you who fired me up with enthusiasm for the recorder many years ago on that first Gryphon LP Richard. I also bought your Divisions on a Ground LP. On the basis of this I bought my Moeck Rottenburgh alto in African blackwood. I am still a keen recorder player to this day; all thanks to you.

A trick : you can watch series on Flixzone. I've been using it for watching a lot of movies these days.

Beautiful sounding recorder. Really like how it sounded wet with added reverb in some parts.

Richard's CD "The Genteel Companion" is one of the greatest ever made. It was awarded some prize, which it deserved. I treasure it.

one of my first recorder LP's from the 80's was Richard Harvey with a fabulous Vivaldi c minor concerto recordings amongst others - great player

The difference between 3:28 and 4:03 is crazy, it sounds like a completely different instrument. I was desperate to play the recorder as a teen but I quickly moved to the flute because I couldn't get beyond the elementary school sound. Looking at this I kinda wish I persevered

Because the first is raw audio, and the second is with significant reverb added to it to make it sound like it's in a huge hall.

It's Bach's cover of "Bum bum Tam tam" by the great composer MC Fioti. Cover's title is Partita in A Minor, BWV 1013
