The Harsh Truth About Sigewinne... 3★ Weapon C0 Sigewinne Showcase (Genshin Impact) 

Uhh... so I apologize for this but it seems like I made a BIG mistake regarding <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1015">16:55</a> where I say Sigewinne will be available as a Trial unit from Special Guest Stars pool in Imaginarium Theater. It seems like you actually need to HAVE her in order to use characters from Special Guest Star pool. My bad T_T

When she was first introduced in the story, I was expecting her to be a 4 Star character to released alongside either Wriothesley or Neuvillette banner. Yet here we are, after such a long delay in releasing her, Mihoyo in their infinite wisdom decided to sell a 4 Star level characters as a 5 Star character yet again!

what irritates me most is how after all these years, our hydro 4* roster is PITIFUL. kingqiu is still one of the best if not the best character in the game, and im not expecting them to release another one of him, but it's actually offensive our ONLY new 4* hydro in all the past few years is CANDACE. fontaine, the land of hydro, didnt give us any. imo sigewinne really should have been a 4* but no matter what she feels a bit redundant and gimmicky. and also i find it annoying how they give us so many hp scaling characters and yet that's a huge niche we're missing from weapons substats.

Unless natlan somehow pulls up with a new mechanic that can make better use of sigewinne, I'll assume the main use of sigewinne that mhy intended was really moreso for overworld utility. A bow hydro that can heal every party member on E? Yeah, that's like 3 overworld utility in 1 basically, bow for all the bow puzzles, a hydro available for anytime you need it with charged shot, and E healing for all the little fights you get into for the treasure chest. And overworld enemies are easy enough that furina+sigewinne buff will probably finish them off without you even needing to do anything extra. Whether that pretty niche overworld utility is worth it or not (especially when yelan fulfills 2 of it too with her own great overworld utility) well..... and this isn't me trying to say Sigewinne's kit is suddenly justified, bcs she could have still done all this + have use in meta by, well yaknow giving every party member separate buff hit points/increased buff dmg. whatever happened with sigewinne's kit is still really sad. As a healer lover I.... ofc I really really REALLY wished Sigewinne could have been way better but after Baizhu (and I mean Baizhu before neuvilette/furina release where his teams were.... Great but still largely considered just a QoL yaoyao) I learned to appreciate the comfyness of E skill party healers and just loving them for being useful (to me) nonetheless, even if it wasn't in Abyss. That's just my 2 cents on it tho.

I would've loved her to work with Wriothesley because of the how Neuvilette and Furina work so well together and story wise they should have worked together but that's just me and also.....she should've been a four star and the only people I see wishing for her are collectors or people who enjoy her as a character

Dawg just release her as a 4 star. Her entire kit is below mediocre even for 4 star standards. Besides hydro NEEDS more 4 stars since we only have three 4 stars till now.

She is not available as a trial in Imaginarium theatre, she is a special guest character if you have her. It's bait to pull her as the only possible hydro.

I really hope shes another Kokomi, where we only found out her true potential after months and other units came out, and that she wont stay this bad. I really hope her mechanic of applying bond of life will be useful in the future

She’s clearly meant for bol teams but kinda wish her burst was longer or her hydro shred was part of passive even if weaker.

Kokomi is better than Sigewinne

Ive seen many people compare Sigewinne with what happened to Kokomi when she first came out, saying she will be good when new characters release and we learn to play her. The thing is, kokomi was always good, its just that 1. Her weapon and constellations try to make her a main dps, which can be good, but not as good as support kokomi 2. She cant crit, and back then huge numbers were everything It would be true if we only looked into sigewienne's bubble and burst damage, ignored her healing and synergy with furina (and everything after <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="328">5:28</a>) and called her a "bad dps" who needs her c4 for her damage to be good, and months later find out she can heal.

can't believe she's seriously competing with Dehya. Dehya set a new bar for badness, but Sigewinne looks like she can reach that bar.

If there is hydro abyss mage banner alongside her, I will pull for the abyss mage.

Conclusion; Should've genuinely been a 4 star

Hoyocreators seem contractually obligated not to call out a bad unit when they see one. "Go crazy if you want to use her in the open world" bro just tell people to save their currency and use any 4 star healer instead

Y'know, I wonder if we're in the future proofing phase of Fontaine. Like how characters like Yae Miko and Kuki didn't really have a purpose until Sumeru and all the Dendro characters came out. I wonder if we'll get a unique off field DPS character in Natlan at some point. Just a thought.

I think siegwinne might be another case of a character that is released before their niche is actually available. Natlan will probably have more bond of life units with elemental skill dmg.

Dehya flashbacks, at least I wasn't waiting for Sigelose for the whole Fontaine patch like I was with Dehya.

I mainly pull for cuteness/personality, not power. I personally love how she and her attacks look so that’s the reason I will pull her. It’s also so cool to have a mélusine character.

She's clearly meant to be Furina's BIS healer, but then it kind of falls appart there. The fact that her skill damage boost is shared across allies is frankly egregious. They could have easily doubled if not tripled the stacks, or better yet have allies have their own stacks. Especially seeing as you're only getting up to 2,800 damage from it. Instead, they hide extra stacks behind her C1. God forbid you hit multiple enemies at once, now your stacks die out even faster! So if you're planning on pulling Seigwinne for the express purpose of building Furina up as much as possible, you effectively lock her out of several units, such as, Yae, Fischle, Kuki, Xiangling, Albedo, Chiori, Nahida, Raiden, Zhongli, Layla and others. These units will eat away potential stacks. If you're interested in pulling Seigwinne to buff up Furina, then just pull for Furina's C1, C2, and/or her weapon. Better investment. Though, she also is incredibly cute, so if you want to pull her for that reason, then more power to you. If you really want a hydro healer, and you're on the fence between Seigwinne and Kokomi, choose the later. Better, wider hydro application, more usage cases, access to TTODS.

I can understand peoples concerns about clorinde. Saying her design was less detailed then navia. Saying she was another keqing But then the whole community absolutely loved her play style and wide team comps from Physical skyward blade with superconduct with qiqi Overloaded with tohma (c6) normal attack boost now useful, and chevruze Aggravate dendro like reverse alhitham with nahida and fischl And electrocharged with yelan or kokomi But no hate against sigiwine, it’s not comparable to furina or yelan with hydro application, or healing like kokomi. You can even build a yelan healer if you wanted to heal your team and still have the hydro damage as sigiwine. There are better unites and unfortunately this character was listed as a 5 star.

She is okay-ish in her niche buffing E dmg and a healer. Yeah she doesn't really have good teams now. But just like other healers that were first released and get doom-posted (Kokomi, Baizhu, Kuki, Xianyun,...) I would say just look forward to how the Natlan units team comps working i mean she potentially could give ally some BoL

One team that i thought would be fun would be heizou faruzan/fischl siegwiene furina. Faruzan if u wanna go heizou hypercarry. Fischl if u wanna do tazer

I already accepted that Hoyo likes making a character now and turns to be really good in future patches. This happened before just like kokomi and baizhu(people saying they are trash or 3 stars when first release), and look how good they are now, even meta when looking at data. Im not really against this, if Hoyo really makes a character useful in later patches, then its fine with me

I’m wondering if maybe she would be good on a clorinde team. Clorinde prefers quick bloom where blooms are nice but not mandatory so slow hydro application isn’t an issue. Clorindes bond of life would buff siegewinnes healing which in turn would give clorinde even more bond of life and her passive would boost fischls damage. Honestly feels like they were matched pretty well for each other

Does she stack with Mona, as Stellaris Phantasm should be an off-field perk, no? Mona's not perfect, but she's decent at Hydro application, so that may create a cooperative effect. Curious about something like Nilou-Nahida-Mona-Siegewinne Bloom team

usually trial character go BANG BANG BOOM most of the time but when I tried her it was......... uhh what like what is she, healer, but I feel like she only heals on skill, her burst is not healing, or is it, anyway it just feels so SO underwhelming

As much as I like the character… I really can’t suggest anyone getting her. She heals too slowly for a five star, making her less than ideal for emergencies, and if she herself needs healing and gets hit before that long final bounce, then you’re out of a healer. Her burst is a joke with how short it is. If it was at least six seconds long THEN she would be more viable with hydro applications, but not by much. If you need a good and easy hydro healer, then Barbara is ideal. She heals about the same rate as Sigwinne with her skill, and her Burst heals everyone in the party for a large amount. Her skill also increases Hydro damage for anyone under its effects, I think by 15%, give or take? I’m probably wrong in the amount since u can’t remember it off the top of my head, but it does increase Hydro damage. So, honestly? She is an easy skip. If she was a four star, and *SHE SHOULD BE,* then it would be much easier to use her since getting copies would be easier as well.

I'm surprised that Furina, Kazuha, Neuvi team isn't mentioned here, that seems to be her best comp. There's one thing that wasn't mentioned in this video, Neuvilette can consume droplets created by Sigewinne, giving him an extra CA without using skill or burst

Even if she somehow becomes meta with future updates it won't matter as the meta we meant was for the abyss and with it gone theres no need for a real meta anymore

Tfw I'm a hardcore Navia Main and I only feel a slight temptation for her, because I see that Navia-Furina-Chiori-Sigewinne Team I could recreate xD But nah, I don't think I'm gonna replace my Xianyun for Sigewinne in that team

The thing about Genshin is, I kinda appreciate how they release a so-called "mediocre" character like her on some patches. It lets players who wants to play meta char to save up for the next Neuvillette and Arle clone without bearing a huge amount of FOMO for the current banner if you think it sucks, you could get away not pulling for it. I say this because when I play Star Rail since 1.0, I feel like 80% of the time the new characters there are all a must pull if you want to complete the endgame like a breeze! Maybe it's because the game is still young compared to Genshin so the roster is still somewhat limited for now. Also it could be because the fundamental gameplay mechanis of these 2 are different, that HSR being turn-based and needing you mostly to match ur dmg type with enemy weakness whereas in Genshin you could just go brrrr, but man the FOMO there felt really strong for me.

Easy skip. Arle was the last character worth pulling in Genshin and by the looks of it it’s staying that way for a long time

people were bashing baizhu when he came out but with furinas release hes good now. i suppose sigewinne will only ger better with natlans release. besides people would still be pressed if she was a 4* because they wouldnt find a use for her anyway. the yapping never stops

IMO The problem now with Genshin is that there are many characters who do the same thing as older characters only the numbers are getting bigger...and the problem with 5 star healers is that 4 star healers just work fine...i usually don't need Benette or yaoyao for healer slot

Sigewinne could work on a Neuvillete team, although you'd lose Neuvillete's passive, it could give him more field time. This could only work on few floors of abyss, like when there's pyro or electro slimes. The enemies with self applied element, It's definetely a damage loss for Neuvillete.

I think I’m gonna get her so I can use kokomi on my nilou team and still have a good healer for Furina on the second side of abyss

I may be misunderstanding since I only recently got back into genshin. (Haven't played since Chasm) but she feels like she could work with Kokomi, clorinde or another bond of life, furina. To make the Clam set go crazy with all the healing.
