Fahrenheit isn't any worse than Celsius. Celsius isn't an absolute scale any more than Fahrenheit. The only difference is where the 0s are placed, which is a benefit in terms of Fahrenheit since it's based on human comfort and not water freezing.

@@Cyrathil this argument makes no sense. Tell me a temperature in fFahrenheit and I will need to convert to "water freezing" scale for it to make any sense for me. Am I water? Well, around 75% of my body is, but that's not the point. So to be clear: I agree that F isn't worse than C. But that means both are equally arbitrary, and the whole "it relates to human experience/comfort" makes no sense for anyone else outside the countries that use F (officially, the USA and Liberia and the Cayman Islands). If you tell me 80ºF is hot, I may believe it since 80 is a big number out of 100. But if you come to my country and tell someone from the hottest city here that 80ºF is hot, they will laugh at your face while wearing their sweaters (80ºF is 26.7ºC). Unless you're saying that is not a human experience, then I'll agree to disagree.
