KC vs the Titans is gonna be a hell of a game, and if Green Bay is better than they were the last time they played the 49's, that should be a damn good shootout. I think the 49's will (probably, sadly) beat the Pack- Rodgers needs more weapons besides Adams, and the defense needs work, while there isn't really anything WRONG with the 49's. I'd love to see Nelson come back, but we'll see what the draft holds I suppose. KC vs the Titans, I'd have to go with KC just because of how crisp Patrick plays once he and Reed have the read. Maybe the Titans can pull off the upset though- They beat the Empire and the Sithlords of Palpachek and Brader, they beat the Ravens...it'd be a mistake to count them out. Either way, very interesting contenders! EDIT: Coming back to say, the KC Titans game was pretty damn good. Sad one of them had to lose, in all honesty- KC and Andy needed a Bowl spot since it'd been half a century, and the Titans had won such a hard road to get there- Deserved win by either team, and KC played the game well. The GB v 9ers game...I can't say I'm surprised, the 9ers just honestly have a better team over all, and Rodgers can't be "magic man" 24/7/365. Hell, he HAS honestly not been the "top-tier" QB sometimes. The KC v 9ers should still be a hell of a Bowl, and I have all the more reason to root for the Chiefs now, at least! maybe we'll get that Mahomes v Rodgers shootout next year. No excuses- The Defense and in particular that fumble by the center early on were inexcusable. I am fully expecting a "Congrats Cheezburgers" video Treeman, don't you let me down like they did! We deserve ALL the egg on our face. 13-3, what a team we are, until we meet the dreaded 9s. We can and should do better. If the Packers are gonna *eventually* win against the 9ers post season, Rodgers has *stop* trying to make them regret not drafting him. Like, dude, you're 0-3 on them. Honestly though, he needs to go back to what made him terrifying in his early days- he needs a god damn receiving core. Adams and Jones are NOT enough, and Geronimo, R.Rodgers, Janice, and Lazard aren't gonna cut it. See if Nelson will come back out of retirement, and pick up any talent you can for the spot. Get you some lads with hands, maybe patch up your O Line just a hair, and for the love of god get you a Tight End that does both. The 9ers showed you that today. Bring back the Driver esqe plays Farve and Early Rodgers and Co used to run. Finley, Jennings- make some damn names on this team. Find you some god damn hands for Rodgers to do his magic with. On the D, they need shutdown corners and safeties. King isn't bad, but he's no Woodson (yet). They need better linebackers. Hawk and Mathews were the Smith and Smith of their day, and their Front Bunch weren't lacking either- bring back that hard hitting, blitz their teeth in and beat them in the pass defense the Pack ran under McCarthy. Current coach is doing well, and 13-3 isn't worth "dissing" over. Better teams have had worse records. Patch your holes, lick your wounds, and come back swinging next year.
