I feel there are no ghosts in the poem,the,ghosts are symbolic of the memories of the departed friends ,near and dear ones .Some memories are unforgettable Some are there but not prominent.Guests are more than hosts implies the memories are too many.. the hosts can never get away with them.
You should write in simple English using appropriate key words from the text book. Unnecessary ornamental language is not required. However advanced English words can be used.
in this poem, there are different types of figures of speech used, like every other line has it’s own figure of speech. But i think, personification is the one which is used the most in this poem.
