I remember watching the original programme on TV back in the 80s. (Parts of it are available on RU-vid). Under hypnosis in Sydney, Gwen casually used the word 'tallot' to describe part of the cottage where she lived in her former life. Neither Dr Ramster (the Hypnotherapist) or any of his team knew what a 'tallot' was, and none of the Australian archives offered any clue either. When the team brought Gwen to England, they tried researching West Country archives for the elusive 'tallot'. Once again having no luck, they obtained the services of a historian specialising in the West Country, but even he hadn't heard of the word before. Eventually, he located an obscure 200 year-old dictionary of West Country colloquialisms, and within it's pages was an entry for the word 'tallot': it was a kind of hay loft. In addition to all the other mind-boggling details Gwen (as Rose Duncan) remembered, what are the chances of a woman who had never left Australia knowing an extremely obscure and now extinct West Country word UNLESS she had actually lived in the West Country at that time? Even the historian had to admit it was beyond the bounds of possibility that Gwen knew this word, unless she had indeed once lived as Rose Duncan.
In the film documentaire you can see her making a drawing under hypnosis with her right hand. Later when she is in the U K and not under hypnosis you see her drawing something with her left hand. This shows she was right handed in her past life. In her present life she is left handed.

I've remembered a few w/o the trauma. My son has remembered one w/o trauma but as he got older I think he forgot it. self hypnosis helps. You can do it w/o suggesting you had a past life. btw, I've done it for others who have not had a past life and nothing comes up.
Or maybe the ones who lived a long life, don't need to tell their stories. Some say the fingerprints tell you how many lives you have led, full fully closed is a life lived, long and not looped a life to live, semi closing your current life.
A lot of guys get a very somber eerie feeling when they visit historic battlefields I wonder if that has to do with their past lives 🤔 I feel like soldiers will continue fighting over and over again in different life's 🤔
It's karmic. So soldier 1 might kill soldier 2 in a battle. They reincarnate, there's another war and Soldier 2 kills soldier 1 in a battle. It's not retribution, it's shared learning. For example, Person A is married to Person B, but cheats w/ Person C. So person B feels betrayal and a bunch of other feelings. Next life Person C is married to Person A but cheats w/ Person B. Now Person A learns betrayal and everything else. And so on and so forth until they all learn cheating hurts other people, and they learn not to do it.... as agreed upon many lifetimes ago between each other prior to being born. It's a lesson plan. The somber eerie feeling could just be feeling the presence of spirits. I had to go to the hospital the other night and there were a sh*tton of them. I went home, told any hangers on that they had to leave and went about my business. Then a few of us had bad dreams and weird phenomena occur b/c they didn't all vacate. A few troublemakers stayed behind. They're gone now, we gave them the boot. I wish, when speaking of Rose’s old home, they would have shown the actual house. We saw a shot of it in a clip they used of her outside of it - from the original documentary about her recollections.
I am one of the few adults that had a spontanious regression back to a life I had lived as a native american woman in Canada over 300 years ago. I experienced and relived maybe an hour of that life. I was not watching it happen like a movie, I was this woman, seeing and feeling and thinking from her eyes and brain. I knew every detail of her existance, every memory. When I came back, it was like seeing a double exposure of both lifetimes and I did not know what was happening or remember who I was in this life. It took several minutes for the other scene to fade completely and for me to remember who and where I was. This experience changed the course of my spiritual beliefs and made me a total believer in reincarnation. Since then I have had flashes of other lifetimes although not as detailed or as long as that first one. I somehow slipped through the door in my memory and I think I left it ajar. But I dont think we are meant to remember and its not always a positive experience. So be careful what you wish for.

I don't think I went into a trance, one second I was here and the next I was in another life in another time. I found myself walking with 2 men in an indian village. I had been chosen to speak with them because I could speak and understand french, I must have been a captive that had lived with them since I was a girl and could still speak the language. There was a missionary living nearby, a little french priest I would sneak away to visit and talk to, so I never forgot the language. I think the men were trappers and had come to trade furs. Most of the people there had never seen white men before and were afraid of them. It was nothing like having a dream, I was someone else in another body. I could feel the rabbit fur lining my moccasins and the doeskin of my dress on my skin. There was a smell of pine trees and wood smoke. There were no tepees but little huts. I was in my middle years, I had a husband who was important in the tribe and 2 sons I was very proud of and daughters to help me. It was a good life and I was very content. The white men and I were walking on split logs laid out kind of like sudewalks and they were surprised about that, and I was explaining to them that we would get very muddy without the wood to walk on when the ground thawed. We came up to a large structure with a pine bow roof and open walls. I was explaining that when its got warm in the summer, the people would sleep there because it was cooler, and that each family had their own space, and warned them to avert their eyes and not look into someone else's space because that would be a violation of their privacy. I took them to my area and we sat down around a fire pit. Then that time began to fade and my current life started to show through. I was very confused and didn't know what was happening. Its took about a minute for the other life to fade away completely and for me to remember my current life. I spent weeks crying and longing to be back in my other life because I had been so much happier in that one, and grieving for my loved ones there. But I knew without a doubt that I had lived that life long ago. I grew up catholic and had never looked into reincarnation before this experience, but I knew my family was from a little town called Bic in Quebec, Canada on the St Laurence River. So I started researching my ancestry, and traced them back to when they relocated from France hundreds of years ago, and were among the first settlers to Canada. I believe I was one of them. Anyway, I never had another experience like it, I have no mental illness so it wasnt a halucination of some kind. But after that I would get flashes of memories. One time I went to see these tall ships sail into Newport, RI, 2 and 3 masted schooners, and I suddenly felt a rush of excitement and knew I had sailed on one from Hawaii to New Bedford, and had died there cold and sick, desperately wanting to return to my island and my people. But I did not relive any part of it, I just remembered it. Another time, I woke up after having had a very real dream about being an elderly jewish woman trying to hide my beloved grandson in a kitchen cubbord because the Nazis were coming to arrest us, but he started to cry and my heart sunk knowing he would be discovered. And one of my first memories in this lifetime was of being so terrified of the booms of fireworks, I wrapped my arms and legs around my mothers legs, screaming and shaking, begging her not to leave to take my brother and sister to see the fireworks because the last time she has left me when I heard those noises, she has been killed and I never saw her again in a different time. And I feel some kind of connection to India and beautiful silk saris and the food and the music and language, but no specific memories, like it was so long ago it has faded from my memory. Whatever keeps people from having these experiences and memories must be malfunctioning in my brain for some reason. So that's my story, believe it or not. Hope it was of interest to you.
Including words and the names of relatives? And that information would skip generations and manifest itself in someone ten or twenty generations down the line? How would DNA form memory engrams and entire schemas? If that were the case, why don't more people find themselves identifying with their parents or grandparents and recalling details from their childhood? The DNA hypothesis begs way too many questions that cannot be answered in a sensible way. ====================================================================================================

We have not had any african american relations between his birth and the inception of baseball. There are also far too many stories w/o a DNA connection.
@@srinivastatachar4951 There are many aspects of DNA that are still an enigma, junk DNA which many academics consider still to be junk, is a prime example, , it’s obviously not the case and has been labelled such to stretch the arrogant ego’s of the scientist’s involved . hi people I'm John from East London I'm open-minded about reincarnation I certainly think is a possibility and it's hard to dispute the fact that this lady was from Australia and yet she remember the previous live 200 years before England there's no way she would have known about that stone on the floor is impossible and there she was there in the previous life I think that beyond the physical life of our human body is a lot we don't understand about the afterlife obviously I don't want to go anywhere just yet I got things to do hopefully I can live another 20 or 30 years it's truly amazing instance I saw something today which I wasn't entirely sure of I work for a company ok where I pick up British Gas waste and I went to my first pick up today in North West London that's the NW2 area I've been out of my van for about 2 minutes and got back in the van where I was parked was a back of some flats I got back in about as I said in front of me there was other buildings but to the left of me there was a car park with a slight heel there was no wind but yet an empty plastic bottle started rolling up at the Hill I at the time quickly open the windows of the van and I can't feel any wind this lasted for about 20 seconds the bottle stopped and of course gravity pull the bottle back down to the kerb so something today I can't explain because if it had been windy the ball wouldn't be rolling in a straight line it was like someone roll in the bottle up the hill as I said I can't explain it
Ghosts are real!! I lived with one when I was young. I have 1 brother and 2 sisters, and as adults, we found out we had all seen the ghost. To prove it, we all wrote down a description of the ghost, and afterwards, we compared notes. They all matched!!! Mine however, being the youngest, by 10 years, also described a black cat. Turns out, our house was built on property that had originally been a dairy farm, and they did in fact have a black cat! The farmer had on overalls, a red and black plaid flannel shirt, brown boots, and had white curly hair!

Life & ( after watching this) death is fascinating. The idea of reincarnation gives us hope that death is not the finality many have come to believe it is, but instead a whole new beginning. What amazes me most is not that reincarnation exists, but the idea that only a rare few can remember past lives in such detail while most of us never recall anything. Definitely an interesting subject to say the least. There's no real way to rationalize all that Gwen knows from her past life. IMO this is truly a paranormal experience, unlike all these manipulated ghost hunting shows & videos that make a mockery out of anything remotely paranormal or supernatural. The world’s first surviving photo was taken in 1826-1827 in France. I feel using a photo with the date of 1780 as your cover detracts from the veracity of the story, even if it was just used as a “representation.” It certainly made me think of passing on this video.

Gwen should leave a mark or sign in her previous place who knows some of her relatives maybe reincarnated too.. some other time and may have a glimpse at it.

That wasn't a photo of her as a little girl. They just add stock photos to make the show more interesting. That photo of the house wasn't the real one she lived in either. Only the ruins of Glastonbury Abbey and what has been her neighbor's house were the real thing.
It would be nice if our spirit guides could tell us/advise what we should do instead of judging us about what we didn't accomplish...she didn't get any hints or gut feelings that she should have helped the poor in her life. Humans don't really know much of what their soul missions are.

There was a girl that worked there by the name of Sandy, she was very short and she had super long dark hair. One of the seniors that came there was named Daniel Suttle and he wore an eye patch because he was missing an eye.

Jeff......you made me laugh with this comment. No one is trying to suggest the photographs shown to illustrate the storyline were contemporary with the subject matter. Imagine your shock if this lady had been reincarnated from Roman times, and they showed pictures of people dressed in togas.
Under hypnosis, you are extremely suggestible, and will create stories on demand. Whenever the stories are checked against records and archives there are very few "facts" that are not things one can guess based on basic historical knowledge.
