Why is the sax playing some of the original recording solo? Seems he doesn't have his own shit or good enough shit. Boring to hear the reference intertwined with his lines. He can obviously play.

perhaps the sax player was paying homage to the original brilliant work; learning to play (imitate) parts of something that was done in such an exemplary way in the original, is one path to getting better yourself...

@@tdrewke I would agree. I saw this as being.a quality homage to someone he has clearly studied. I seem to hear bits of Ronnie Laws there too. Would be curious to know..
