I said the earliest manuscripts do not say anything about the angel, which is correct. You are reading from a later manuscript which had the wording added several hundred years later.

While I won’t disagree that moving water from one pool to the other is not miraculous like we might think, I don’t agree with the KJV being the correct translation. The simple fact is you don’t find the angel mentioned till hundreds of years later. Simply put the KJV uses a newer copy.
