Here is one of most healthiest breakfast for your Heart and Arteries (Cardiovascular System). This will help your blood sugar levels, lower cholesterol and triglycerides, improve digestive issues, help in weight loss, increase energy levels, and so much more.
Ingredients:
1/4 - 1/2 Cup of Steel Cut Oats (Rolled Oats is Second Best)
1/2 Cup of Mixed Berries
1/2 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
1 Tablespoon of Chia Seeds or Flaxseeds or 1/4 Cup of Chopped Walnuts
1 Tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Optional: Raw Honey or Natural Sweetener
Clogged arteries result from the build-up of a substance called plaque in the arterial walls. It is also medically referred to as arterial plaque. This plaque can reduce blood flow or even block it altogether.
Clogged arteries increase your risk of developing other health complications like a heart attack or stroke.
Some of the most common risk factors for clogged arteries are:
High levels of LDL (bad cholesterol) or low levels of HDL (good cholesterol)
A high blood pressure
Smoking tobacco
Diabetes or elevated blood sugar levels
A family history of atherosclerosis or clogged arteries
Stress
Obesity
A sedentary lifestyle
Most cases of clogged arteries do not exhibit any symptoms until a heart attack or blood clot presents itself. However, in cases where 70% or more of the arteries are blocked, you will notice the following symptoms.
Severe cases of clogged arteries may exhibit symptoms like:
Shortness of breath
Sweating
Nausea
Chest pain or angina
Palpitations of the heart
Dizziness
Weakness

good to know and see this. i have made steel cut oats in the past, but didn't use any of the ingredients listed, other than cinnamon. i cooked the oats in a combo of milk and butter, then when done/thickened enough, into bowl with a bit more milk of some kind (i think i used almond milk, actually), cinnamon, sliced apples, butter, and pecans. will still use my recipe, i think, but with additions of chia seeds, which i have in fridge. can't imagine...putting olive oil into it, but guessing it can't hurt.....

My exact breakfast but I use coconut oil instead of olive oil and I also add an apple. Here is my recipe 1/2 cups organic old fashion rolled oats, add spring or filtered water to cover the oat about 3" above the top of the oats, add t tsp of crushed flax seeds add 1 tsp organic cinnamon cook on medium heat when start to boil add 1 TB unrefined organic coconut oil let cook about 2 minutes after start boiling. While cooking peel apple and dice up into your serving bowl and wash fresh organic blueberries and add 1/3 cup to the serving bowl and 1/4 cup chopped walnuts. Pour the cooked oatmeal over the fruit and nuts and mix together. If you do not have blue berries raisins are also good or whatever berry you have or like.

@@derekjolly3680 maybe you need to look a little closer at glyphosate and long term exposure. Look at ANY study not paid for by the companies that profit from it. Weird how Monsanto studies all stop at 30 or 60 days. Who do you know that stops eating after 60 days? I think we eat for our whole lives. Look at what happens to the animals after 90 days and tell me you're ok eating your poison. But of course, it's your choice. 👍👍👍 .. great post, thanks. My mid-morning breakfast for years has been .. * Five Tablespoons Oats, Salt, Teaspoon Cinnamon, 1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper. Put into a glass jar (a dedicated 500g Peanut Butter Jar) and topped up with boiling water to soak overnight. * The next morning, I dump the contents into a pot to warm up and then add 200ml Milk, a mashed Banana (left to 'brown' for a while as this appears to sweeten it), the finely chopped banana peel, a dollop of Hazel or Peanut Butter and half a finely chopped Carrot. This keeps me going until Supper. * Should there be spare other fruit in the vicinity (apple, mango, peaches, mandarin, pear, whatever), I substitute the banana with said fruit (or, just add it with the banana if feeling particularly greedy on the day 😏). Leftover Yoghurt, Fresh thick Cream and such has also found itself 'in the pot'. I hate food going to waste. I make it a point to include, inter alia, a Tomato, Onion and Carrot in my daily food intake .. raw .. Peppers, Cucumber and Lettuce too. Outdoor breakfasts .. I substitute the glass jar with a plastic one (I lower the temperature of the water added) and use powdered milk in place of the fresh stuff. The 'extra weight' 🙄 carting the pre-soaked oats? The liquid required for the oats has to be carried anyway .. just how, differs. Post lunch snack? A slice of 'Basler Brot' (a local daily in-store-baked Swiss Bread .. delicious!) .. toasted if old, otherwise fresh. Soaked with Vinegar and Olive Oil. Add Salt, Black Pepper and Cayenne Pepper to taste. Top with Tomato Paste and then a layer of finely-sliced fresh Garlic. Yumm 😊. The Garlic? I'm 74 years of age and have long stopped concerning myself about others' 'sensitivity' to the after effects of said consumption 😏.

It's not about carbs, it is also about your daily macros and about how MANY carbs meaning if you eat your daily allotment of complex carbs and stay within your daily caloric intake you will be fine. Sounds like your Dr. Or nutritionist is is promoting Keto. Keto has been proven unsustainable. It is OK if one is severely obese but not long term. Hope that hope that helps.

You SHOULD know who Dr. Steven Gundry is. He claimed that oats were for horses and not humans and that it's bad for us. It did not make sense, since I knew what it was doing to my body to help clean me out. Just that part alone is very important in a food to be able to do something. I swore in the past cpl. yrs. since finding him, that he'd said something about avocados being bad and then I saw he said they were good. I asked for clarity on FB and was told that he doesn't discuss stuff. Oh, is that right? If you say two different things that don't vibe together and then won't back it up, then you're lying and don't want to admit it. It doesn't mean that if you don't address it, it will simply go away. He said we shouldn't eat bananas once they start to get brown spots and .... all the ppl who wait til they brown to make bread and things ...... like .... Idk why someone just HAS to come in during the early quarter of the 21st century to tell us basic stupid stuff like the most normal and long-term foods we've been eating aren't even for humans, even when it does something good for us. You're showing what it does. He would not show what it does and would not back anything up. He went all the way to Morocco for the world's best olive oil to sell on his site for something like $45, I think. His entire entourage of OTC stuff is just insane like it's the exactly perfect thing we should be taking. Well, when a person refuses to talk and refuses to back up what he's said on different publications of his own ...... there's nothing wrong with looking at a person with a GRAND medical degree and saying this person is lying. I subscribe to you, NOT him, just so you know. He comes across as an elitist who is building his wealth, and nothing more.
