Great video, thanks for sharing. We passed that way at the end of March 2003. Nice picture of the stonechat and lovely drone footage at Oversley Bridge. Somewhere between Oversley Castle and Wixford we came across a fence where the farmer had hung 11 dead moles. Lovely Church of St Milburga at Wixford, nice to see the interior. The Churchyard has been smartened up since our visit, perhaps the vicar made it on his horse. All the best, Peter.
Thank you, Peter. I hope the video brought back some great memories. It sounds like you had a great walk, apart from the hanging moles. I had a great time at the church, meeting the church warden who was waiting for someone to come and look at the church roof. We were so busy chatting, and I got the Grand tour of the church, and some stories, It was interesting and educational for me as I did not know a lot about these old buildings, I now look for sun dials on other churches. Really enjoyed the walk through the countryside, it looks so atmospheric in winter. What was that at 9.47 it looked very dramatic :) I loved walking through the countryside with you and seeing the lovely church as well :) The waterfall was a nice unexpected surprise :)

I walked this section in mid summer last year and those gushing rivers were mere streams then. Even the Avon hardy had any water on. Thank you, Anna. I had a lovely tour of the church, inside on a large windowsill, there were old board games carved into the stone. They are believed to be from around the English Civil War.
