Do you prefer videos transitioning between several songs like in this video or looping the same song like in most of my previous videos? I could see this being more distracting but the same song over and over could be a little mind melting too so let me know!
I'm torn apart. For one side I like the uniques since their existance will really make each decklist unique, which is something I've never seen a card game do before. But on the other hand they kinda take the flavor out, since each card can literally do whatever effect, plus how many uniques can they really make? Also they are not really planned out by a human to fill a specific function, since there are going to be endless different versions
@@LatiN00bs I think it is a lot more calculated than it first seems! While there are countless versions, after reading several thousand I've found that certain names consistently have access to certain costs or effects. It seems like there are many cool possibilities that they want everyone to have access to. Also each card is limited in the effects it receives so that it still reflects its faction and the original card. With these parameters and a limit of 3 per deck I don't think we need to worry too much about losing the flavor of each hero. I'm just afraid I'll see a unique and get excited about using it in a specific deck and then I'll be disappointed when I can't obtain something similar.
😂 I wish... I started this channel out of passion a few months ago because I am excited for the game. I haven't seen a dime yet but maybe one day if enough people appreciate the content it will go somewhere!
Is there any quality control for these or is there potential for a completly busted card to exist only once in the world and the player becomes near unbeatable?
@@skulphire3679 theoretically there are a lot of limits on the possible combinations. Like certain effects can't appear on a card that costs less than 4 and other effects that are really good can't appear on the same card together. I'm sure some will be better than others but we will have to wait and see how much better the best unique cards turn out to be!
Can you explain because I don t understant what uniques are. I see that they get different numbers BUT are those unique in the sense that only one card like that was printed ever? That sounds strangely weird and idiotic as some would have value from good numbers and some bad from others. If cards numbers are random how on earth can these cards be printed as uniques? Only one card exist with those numbers? That seems idiotic for collectors to get the physical version and makes it impossible to get a checklist with all cards as there could be 125 versions of each cards. Please explain
The cards really are unique. Every display has 4-5 of these cards which are truly one of a kind in the world. There are parameters for each name to keep the results within an acceptable range, but some will be better than others. Trying to build a deck around a cool unique you found or searching for one that is a perfect fit for your deck will be part of the game. You are only aloud 3 per deck which helps them to feel special. Collectors obviously will not be able to get every card with this setup but they can still hunt for one of each name!
@@TricksterCG So are there going to be 125+ variations of each cards making it impossible to make a checklist of all cards? If that is the case I don t see the secondary market embrassing this for collectors like me as basically all cards become uniques which makes no cards unique (I know it sounds weird but it means there are too many variations to collect) and pricing those will be impossible when you have 125 variations of a card. How the hell are they able to print those unless they are able to print each card individually instead of one giant sheets then cut
@@le_med I believe the initial print run has each of the unique versions of a name numbered in roughly the 1-5000 range and I'm sure that could increase in the future. Most sales have been auctions so far because it is hard to value individual cards. I believe there are 109 names to collect and with only 4-5 unique cards per display getting one of each would be a huge accomplishment. Even if the effects change the art will be identical for each name. It is changing the game for players and collectors so you will have to decide if it is a good fit for you. Personally I think the variety makes deckbuilding a ton of fun and should keep the meta from getting stale. They do actually have something similar to what you've mentioned. They use digital printing for unique cards instead of offset and are still able to print sheets of them that they then disperse amongst the other cards that are printed normally.
It was a huge turn off for me for the card game when I saw these can people please stop making card games into investments instead of making a actual fun game?
@@kiwitchi5053 purely for the fact that there are mechanically 1 of unquie cards yeah that screams “invest your money” not to mention since its 1 of 1 kind of card I’m very scared for how formats can go there’s a reason why card games do alternate art for collectors and not whatever this is
@@UnoDosTres-qn4lm i mean, theres multiple uniques for literally each card in the game. that plus the fact print on demand exists means if the person who pulled the card desired, they could straight up print as many as they wanted. at the end of the day the unique cards are a cute gimmick that can potentially make games more interesting, ur only allowed 3 of em in ur deck, and the unique abilities are just alternative stats. if ur good enough at playing you can easily play around these cards
@@kiwitchi5053 yeah the “player who pulls it if they wish could print” just tells me this is investment the game prices will be ridiculous if they don’t handle the 1:1 good and make something game breaking. There’s only so much of “play around it” can do but it’s just the first set so it won’t happen for a while or hopefully it never will
