Oh no! Sorry to hear that! I actually have some seedlings ready to come out of the greenhouse but I’m sure they cannot handle this sun. I’m going to have to find them a partial shade area.
I understand 👍 your pain am in TX when it comes to increasing summer heat climate change is real one of the many reasons I love aquaponics in combination with shade 😎 cloth solved my heat exposure problems
WRT potatoes, I go by the expectation of, at least 1 lb of potatoes per plant. To get more, fertility is the main issue. For indeterminate potatoes, more soil can help increase yield.
It is my first time on your channel and I have just subscribed. Despite the heath you have a very nice garden. I am experiencing the same thing with my tomatoes. Thank you so much for sharing. Keep up the good work. All the best on this journey.
Not me in Augusta about to give up... I said that I would just wait til fall and try again. The only thing I've been able to harvest is peppers and some Herbs, my yellow squash was blooming , and I have a few beans but they are burning up.
@@chrisjackson2345 the beds are healthier than the pots because they have more shade over the soil, the pots are crispy I need to figure out a plan for them and I’m trying not to mulch. Last year earwigs had a field day in the cedar mulch I used.
begonia( not geranium) like shade. I live in the high desert. Everything is on a drip. Just seem to do better in the heat. I think things will recover.
Someone corrected me in the comments it’s a begonia, and for some reason I keep saying geranium 😂 in every video but it’s a White Begonia❤ I got it from Home Depot and the bees love it.
@theheardhomestead 7a I think I am in Maryland. I learn something every year. Next year I will be putting the net over my zucchini plants until those moths go away! I bought those potato bags that are supposed to help get the potatoes out but that it really didn't help last year I just dig in the pot..lol I usually don't get a lot of potatoes put homegrown are tasty
@@tashastouch815 Thank you! I hope to show y’all a more alive garden soon 🤣🤣♥️ This year the sun scald on veggies and flowers was insane. Last year was no where near this bad.
Hi! New subscriber sending greetings from Zone 9a Louisiana.👋🏽 I really like your garden layout! 👍🏽The heat has been brutal here too.🥵 Take care & Happy Gardening!🌱
@@celestialbrownie3948 Peppers like water about every 3 days in the heat. Tomatoes meed the soil to always have moisture, they do not like to dry out between waterings. What are they growing in?
