The wow moment for me was this. "There is no one on earth more graced than you to handle your husband." Listen I haven't met my husband yet but this empowered me to keep waiting because I have been graced to handle him. No one else can do my job! Yes Lord!

Isn't the husband missing her birthday kind of selfish? I do not think submission means that a husband can say, "Reschedule whatever you are doing and please me instead." Godly submission is in a relationship where both parties are treated equally.

I liked how you girls explained it, it's less fearful. It's hard for me to submit to a man since I've seen my father acting like a little boy and seeing my mom so strong and independent. But I'm willing to break that pattern with Christ
wow thanks a lot for this awesome message, i have also struggled with submission. i always found myself questioning why God said we should submit and i remember the Holy-spirit rebuked me so much, and i am learning. the world around us has polluted our thinking in terms of submission. may the lord help us
