I thought about doing that but I don't want to mess with the integrity of the yoke, the velcro is a bit of a nuisance when fitting the yoke but it also secures it nicely
I agree with you 100%. Your way is better and the way I would do it. The one thing that has to be taken into consideration is that these components were never designed to work together, so trying to adapt them to make them work is going to have pluses and minuses. It’s combining 1970’s technology with the current. A lot of people put things together that so called “WORK” but for how long? And is it really correct? Or they find a problem that they can’t solve and just deal with it. Unfortunately that’s what you get most of the time combining old with new.
Thank you my man! I have to say i have never tried the FILBE yoke, but looking at some pictures makes me wonder whether it's possible. As for the MOLLE ii yoke, it definitely can work, and surprisingly quite well, just gotta find the right way to combine these components
