Manson is a well spoken, intellectually brilliant human being. Honestly have never been into his art, but as a creative I understand being misunderstood and as woeful as it sounds , human beings can be extremely dedicated to misunderstanding one another.

Him bringing up George Orwell and then talking about art as compared to destructiveness of politics gives me shivers. I feel like that's exactly where we are.

Watching this, 16 years later, is mind blowing, that intro already just sounded like written today! Man... I cannot admire Henry Rollins more than I already do. He's lost some of that grit you could see on his face back then, today. I really wish to hear him about the current situation in our world. I must admit I thought this was something new but is not, which doesn't make it less interesting... on the contrary it gives an even better point of view on reality. Henry Rollins is a reality check. I wish his words counted more, in this world. We need more Henry Rollins or just more of Henry Rollins!

So cool to see Peaches rocking out so hard, I was not expecting her to be on this show when I clicked this video. Her art has withstood the test of time and she has just as much devotion from her fans as Manson has with his - just not as much exposure. Both artists are brave and are cultural leaders!

Marilyn Manson's words about the Art and the creatives work bringing something positive in the world that builds the world instead of destroying it... I couldn't relate more, as an artist and a creative I feel the same responsibility and also how at the end of the day is never enough, whatever I do trying to make the world better falls into the island of irrelevancy. I definitely must agree with Henry Rollins and his words on Manson. I've never been a Manson's fan simply because I had different tastes about heavy metal _{TOOL, Opeth, Therion... and, among the others, Henry Rollins Band of course!} and its visual side as well which is also an important part of the art of music, but always respected the guy and the artist, specially the mockery on religions he willing or not does. My view on religions!?? Simply put: the cancer of mankind... go watching what really religions look alike, on both sides of Gaza's land stripe!_

He's a human just like us... he goes and feels like all of us in different stages of our lives. The difference is that he makes music when he feels in X or Y way and the whole world reacts to it cause he's a public figure. Let him be!!! Let him go through phases, he's human so are we! I've been depressed to the point where I want to disappear... and everyone would judge me for feeling X or Y.... my thoughts and feelings are mine.. you don't like them? F××ck it! No problem ...he's a person who expresses himself when he can Let him be! Raise your kids your way and let artists express their thoughts the way they want to. Your kids could be the future Marylin and you don't even know cause you're so focused on him. Live and let others live ❤

I was a big ass Manson fan in 96-97 and i caught so much S**t at school and was singled out and was always gett8ng in trouble over my t-shirts and labeled a satanist..... I just loved music, Manson, Korn, Limp Bizkit and so on and still big fans but boy do people suck.... I also remember picking up Rollins band record and What i thought was a Henry Rollins "solo" album from a pawn shop but turned out to be a spoken word thing.... I believe i still have those cds still

This is sadly not a great interview because of the place Manson was in at the time. He was focused solely on rebuilding himself and climbing out of a deep pit of depression so he wasn't paying any attention to the political landscape at the time and had nothing to really say. It appeared he was even taken aback like he was blindsided by Henry's political questions. They surely could have had a better experience a bit earlier, like in 2005

I trust Henry Rollins opinion. I still keep my own. But I have an immense amount of respect for him speaking his mind. I've never been lucky enough to see him in person possibly I might have been at a show that he did something out but I was not introduced to his Persona at that time so I probably was talking and not watching what was going on on stage and that disappoints me❤

I love interviews like this, where you get a look behind the curtain at the real artist. Henry and Marilyn's views on the government are spot on. The only sad part is they think it only the right wing. They seem to think the left actually cares. Left wing and right wing are connected to the same vulture.

These guys party hard like cannot imagine and use drugs to create their "art". its insane to watch them destroy themselves while they create but thats their choice, its rock and roll. The real people to blame for Columbine were the bullies of the shooters. I dont condone the shootings, but its mind boggling to me that 25 years later and everyone still tries to place blame on everyone except those who orchestrated the shooters actions.

She was performative too twirling her drumstick many times, ) guitars sounded decent, but everything was derivative man. Especially the throwing of the guitar at the end, like why do that there's not even an audience it was very performative and very very very repetitive. And I hated the whole somersault, the tandem dancing rocking back-and-forth. I'm sorry, it was so corny. Even her look is derivative in my opinion. A mash of Paul Stanley and Joan Jett. No one can be original anymore , I did notice that the singer has the same voice as Duff McKagan's daughter, in the band pink slips whole thing is just tacky to me. Columbine is a symptom and desired outcome, driven by TV, Video Game, and an out of control mental illness issue (which has nothing to do with the inanimate objects, that of firearms). I went to HS in the late 70's and college in the mid to late 80's, and right up until maybe 1984, firearms were in the back window of trucks, on gun racks, in glove boxes, in tool boxes, and in some cases carried on students person. No one got shot!!! Pong did not cause any uptick in shootings, neither did Gilligan's Island or I Dream of Jeannie. But then we started to get games like Wolfenstein (once owned by ID) and you can draw a direct correlation to both that game (post 1992), and the drastic increase of gun violence on TV and in the movies. Not unlike all leftists and Socialists, those monsters thrive on violence, as they use it as a vehicle to destroy individual rights, and foist their alternate realities upon society so they will feel good about themselves and their otherwise motion lives.
