At least Colin does change his opinion and will at least once admit he’s wrong. Even if he continues to act like he never had the opposing view in future segments. Lol.
11:25 - Coddled Patrick Mahomes literally has had the same exact offense since he's been a chief at least 7 years now. There SHOULD be a problem if he wasn't consistent.
Anyone who thinks he shouldn’t get paid are just prejudice or flat out ignorant! Love finished 2nd in TDS , more passing yards than stroud, beat the cowboys and was a game away from the super bowl. Yall some weirdos
Love was also kind of raw early in his career and needed time to develop his skills and also needed the right team/fit to succeed. Several teams don’t have the pieces to have a QB succeed and it’s like “save us” and they fail
Colin bends things to Make stories like almost ALL major media. I do like watching him though because I like to here the chaotic viewpoint just to hear em out.
Definitely Top 5 already if we are going to be straight forward he deserves more than Goff. With GB situation last year hat goes off the way he handle alot of stuff.
I guess you don’t watch Colin on Monday where he has a segment called where Colin is right and Colin was wrong. Let’s face it. Fans wanted love to set the bench after his first few weeks and definitely mid season calling for Sean Clifford
@@JWLSports you spent half the show talking about past comments by him. I just felt like you went on an unnecessary rant about it. I couldn’t watch the rest. Hell Bill Michaels wanted him to be seated. The gm called him out. Everyone but a handful of extreme homers was in the camp that Love wasn’t it. I’ve always said Love needs two full seasons I’ll know by the 3rd. Hopefully you have better content then this.
I love it when the sports commentators talks about a young quarterback that should be paid and then and then if he has a bad season or bad game or two they're the first ones to throw them in the trash and say he's trash and everything else so we'll see how all this works remember these are the same people that said Jordan love wasn't ready call I would never be ready because Aaron freaking Rogers was the greatest thing since sliced bread 20 years and one Super Bowl
I think people just want to rush and be “first” when calling a bust. They do this with all QBs. There’s no patience anymore. They did it with Allen, Goff, Love, etc. They wanted to even bench Lamar at his first playoff game.
@@JWLSports I know I listen an tune in everyday just about because I love to hear him talk...WTF I'm surprised I've been listening to him since Early Middle school around 2002,2003 Era ESPN days
“Bad early” his rookie WRs and TEs were bad early too, my point is much of the early struggles weren’t only 10ve. The defense was also pretty suspect. So what we saw last year was a team settling in and by the end of the season we glimpsed what they can be. I expect there to be a stinker or two this year as well, it happens but we know what they’re capable of. He’s earned an extension, the timeline wasn’t really anything he could even control, the team drafted him and had him sit behind Rodgers. You have to give him one contract. Who knows maybe he’s not it or maybe he wins two rings but he’s gonna get four years to prove it at minimum
As a diehard Packer fan, I’m still not totally sold on Love. I think it’s a bit too much recency bias to assume that he’s going to continue to perform at the level he was in the last 2 months of the season. QBs often have struggles in their second full season as a starter after teams have more tape and begin to gameplan for them. He’s shown a few glimpses of the ability to be great QB but I’d be weary of handing him a bag until I know he can do it consistently. This is a huge year for him.
I’m 48 years old and a lifelong Packer fan. The issue is the timeline, and the organization created that problem not 10ve. It’s my belief that the early struggles last year had plenty to do with rookie WRs and TEs and an immediate question at RB because Jones was injured in week 1. From my perspective what we saw was a team of young guys settling down and getting comfortable. You’re absolutely right that defenses have tape now but what we saw from 10ve is what we needed to see. The Wicks TD against Dallas is all we need to look at. He works pretty snap, reads the defense, changes the play and the protection, hurries it up, then stands in the pocket tall and deliveries a dime. Not every play will work out perfectly but you have to know if he can do it and he definitely can. He’s earned 4 years, it’s just that simple. All of his weapons are on rookie deals, now is maybe a better time than any to risk a little because the reward might be huge and if not it doesn’t hurt that much. The flip side is screwing around and winding up in a Dak situation.
Beat? Buddy he embarrassed them infront of millions and was about to take out the 49ers if the kicker wasnt a bum..doesnt matter if you win by an inch or a mile winning is winning..
In my opinion, this would be extremely foolish. The dude has had 3/4ths of one good year. That's it. I'd want to see him do it this year first. If he's tearing it up by midseason, maybe then, but probably want to see the whole year first. I like Colin, and I realize he needs content to talk about, but come on man, this is an iffy take.
@@78LedHead Love has already proven beyond any shadow of a doubt that hes better than Jones or Kyler. By the end of last season, he was playing with complete mastery over the position. Guys who reach that level dont just fall off in a year unless they get seriously injured.
no mahomo throws alot of pics most of which is called back due to a phantom flag on the d last season he had 56 called back while allen had 7 the next closest while also would be sacked alot more if not for the offence holding and not getting called on it call it rigged or favoratizm pat is mid at best
all I know is if he becomes bad again it won’t be bc he was pulling a cutler. He’s working his ace off to be the best he can be and that’s all you can ask for
