the title just WENT for the kill omg Besides that, I think this is a good review/look-back at Area's shows, because by GOD have they aged dreadfully, and it took me a while to realize just how badly too! Also, thought I'd offer a little clarification for a comment you made at 26:28; BFOD episode 2 actually came out before the Object Terror episode in question (BFOD came out in March 2016, OT in April), meaning that OT technically copied the scene, hope that clears up any confusion! Good job with this review, and I'm interested to see what you decide to tackle next!
28:50 Oh yeah about this scene with Harambe, that stone H character was originally gonna be Printer from OT, but it was changed because people were telling Area that it was a bad idea to put someone else's character in his show without permission, especially if it's making fun of the person.
i remember seeing the creator of becky bucket go into the osc server and say that he was gonna make the darkest object show ever in 2021/2022, i dont really remember once but he had a meltdown because people were extremely skeptical and then he said some stuff that got him banned, and thats the last we heard of him

Ok what he did was not as bad as Legoboy but Area's response to his Hic drama is idk, and he just quit like a PUSS. While Shalot did change (mostly) for the better, he took his drama like a champ.
Oh man I remember those days when I somehow got obsessed with BFOD despite its flaws, I even spoke to Area like once or twice in some VC calls if I remember correctly. It's a shame that he turned out to be such a horrid person, but I do feel nostalgic when looking back in my own OSC phase, I also use to be obsessed with your show LAS, those were some good times for me but as for you, you just do you. Keep making content you enjoy.
I didn't understand why people were talking about the title until I got details what area was exposed for. Yea, hiccups of area is crazy (and what he did).
Fun fact, from what I understand, Becky Bucket was meant to have an adult reboot with swearing (and maybe sex) idk, vlogcentrel was on twittee during that but was made fun off and deleted the account.
This was a very detailed review, before knowing about his heinous actions, I actually kind of liked Area’s BFOD, yes it’s REALLY far from perfect, but the animation really carries it, also I think it’s a bit funny. Also I love the Manchester United scene 😂
Kinda funny how área hated every object show from that time (snack time, etc) but tbh, his shows sucks (even as a person that discovered the OSC as a dumb 6 year old)
Oh god this sends trauma shivers down my spine. Edit: To answer your question I wrote an extreme horror book and I also create music and commentary about lolcows. I tried to get away from the OSC because I have little interest in object shows. Last I checked, Area was still kicking and creates stuff under a new name and has no plans to ever return to the OSC or go under his name Area ever again. He graduated from an art university with honors grades I believe, and now lives an underground lifestyle. Everything we created was the result of extreme insecurity and being bullied by peers, we wanted to be powerful and created horrible garbage as a result. Area is also a very mentally ill individual with a very bad living situation, so keep that in mind. I regret bullying him and ruining his reputation, though I'm glad it exposed him and stopped him from doing evil stuff to people.

I didn’t even get to know him or watch his show even before or after his drama the first time I knew about him it was about the drama…..all I knew was just that ONE hiccup lead to fee.
During the Earthquake part what the Announcer said what the game was: “You and other characters are trap in a box on an island on the coast of Japan where it’s about to be torn apart by a terrible earthquake in 4 days and they must compete 15 grueling puzzles in that time the ground below them will be ripped apart and they will fall to their deaths” To some it up
you know vlogcentral actually did return to and join the osc server posting new voice clips and talking about becky bucket before then getting bullied in vc and then out the server
One time when i was scrolling on twitter (X) i saw someone posting about area showing his character in a object camp in a discord server,and most of the people reacted with insult-type emojis.He sended that recently when the twitter post came out from the guy who posted it.
The reason why I asked you to talk about Area because I never really understood the situation. For me it as like teaching a 1st grader algebra. I never really found out what was true and what was false about Area. Thats why I asked you because you had been in the OSC for a long time.
It'd be cool to see more reviews on older shows, although ones that ain't anywhere near as awful as Area's shows. Maybe something like object universe, or maybe object overload would be fun to see a review on as supposedly it's getting worked on again and we haven't seen the show for like 8 or so years now. Fuck, even include object show 87 as a little side review ontop of it since it feels like it'd fit in easily.
i'm a little bit late to this, but this was a good review. i personally find earthquake as his best show, though that isn't saying much since his other shows are just not good at all. i also laughed when i heard the song at the end, and i'm glad the creator of it is getting some recognition because he deserves it (also i might be really good friends with him lol)
You know i never even heard of Animation/Alcemist area, his shows or the controversies the will eventually destroy him since i joined the/discovered the osc and BFDI in 2022 and now in listening to the video tht explains to it all to me and oh boy that dude did a lot of crap at the at time although i was in the community since then, but hey your review is awesome btw and you should totally make more of it
I remembered around 2017-ish when i commented on an animation one of his friends did and simply critiqued it, offering suggestions on how a scene couldve been done and for no reason, Area lashes out by replying to me saying something along the lines of "you have no right to critique him its not that serious" and its like damn all i did was suggest something and i wasnt even rude at all. To this day i dont know why he was so mean
Finally watched the video. It's really good, really made me realize how bad Area's shows were to begin with. He definitely deserved to get completely wiped out of the community for what he did. Loved the ending, was not expecting to hear that masterpiece here lol. Also, something I noticed is that some of the animation in BFOD got reused in BFPOR by Woopdoo probably to make fun of the show lol.

Imagine my shock to find out you're making videos again! And hey, look, there I am at 13:45! Yeah, I was the guy who asked you to review Object Pandemonium back when you had a DeviantArt. Small world, huh? OK, actual talk related to the video. I remember talking to Area way back around when BFOD 1-2 were around. He genuinely seemed like a chill guy, hell, he even offered to voice a character in one of my shows! However, we ended up drifting apart. I'm guessing because I was being a shitchild, back in 2015-2017, causing drama wherever I went, and he likely (and understandably) got sick of it. That, and he probably drifted to other friend groups. Not helping was the fact that the friend group that I was in frequently memed him, being a bunch of edgy teenagers.... some more than others. (Read, me) I later learned of the whole controversy around the time it got out, and honestly... kinda fucked up that it happened, let alone finding out that it DID happen. Condolences to the victims involved, even if it's years after the fact. Me having been out of the community for a while, I have no idea where the hell he is. I did find out relatively recently though that his family was a complete shitshow, with a constantly drunk hyper-masculine father and a mom who consistently babied him and defended his actions. He also ended up getting bullied out of his school (middle school, I believe?) due to being on the autism spectrum. At the same time though, that doesn't excuse what he did. It still felt like it was a conscious decision on his part to do these things, and in the end, he ended up sealing his own fate. He was a decent animator... and that's about it, his shows were all style, no substance, looking at them in hindsight. I'm assuming kids just looked at the animation and just didn't care about the actual story.
This was a solid video. I do have a request for a potential future video if you don't mind. I wish that you could try to talk about the sorta popular object show RU-vidr PenGelatinandDonutFan17 in the future. Not only (from what I was able to see from them) are his shows, and RU-vid content in general god awful, but just like with Area, this guy is very problematic, and has done a bunch of horrible things. These include: Defending his brother sending videos of himself shirtless, as well as showing his foot in a Discord server full of minors when both are adults, sending pedophilic messages towards minors himself, like sending a foot emoji to someone who just claimed they're a minor, making jokes during someone's suicide vent, and not ban Discord users who were sending racist and NSFW messages (once again, in a Discord server filled with minors). I was unfortunately involved with him during the situation, since him and his brother wouldn't stop pestering me about it for a decent while after cutting them off since they decided to only take a 10 day-long break from the Internet, even though I've asked them to take a break for much longer than that. Now, PenGelatinandDonutFan17 is still in the OSC, and is also an admin on the Inanimate Insanity wiki (while he was blocked from the wiki at one point, due to being an admin, he was able to unblock himself). Even though he tried to apologize multiple times before, I can't forgive him anymore due to how much horrible sh*t he has done before, and how bad he reacted afterwards (plus, I don't think his apologies are good). What I wish is someone (like you) with a decently sizeable following makes a video calling him out for his actions so he can potentially leave for good because frankly, I don't think he will anytime soon, and I'm so tired of seeing him around considering how badly he treated several people. Shout out to object show RU-vidr GreatMan47 (@NotSoGreatMan47) for their original community post on PenGelatinandDonutFan17. Also, if you want to see some other things that he did to me during the situation, you can check out the OSC wiki articles "Object Show Characters/p36", "Object Show Characters/p47" and "Object Show Characters/p50" since all articles have a template in them that describes what he has done, as well as sharing a screenshot showing several messages from a now-deleted message board on the Inanimate Insanity wiki of him lying about the situation at hand during an argument he and I had. One last thing: If you ever release a video about him later on the line. Don't delete the video if he asks you to do so. He has already asked other people who also made videos on him in the past to do so, and he can't hide what he has done regardless if he thinks he got better (because I honestly doubt he did).
Yet another thing I wanna bring up: If you do release a video about him in the future, I request to stay anonymous in the video. This is because I don't want him to start pestering me again, because I know for certain he will do it. Thank you
why did all object shows from 2014-2015 look like this? really weirdly lanky characters with desaturated colors, bfdi mouths etc. i swear this is like the third show you reviewed that looked like this.
