There is good explanation for that. In technical terms, a bike's power formula is - get fresh air in the engine as fast as possible (turbos or filters) Get the gas from engine out as fast as possible to make room for the fresh air again. (By exhausts and exhaust systems) Exhaust is getting the air out so more fresh air has room to come in and take its place.

During your motorcycle wash, make sure the quality of the water is clean and pure, or else it might cause rusting and paint job may fade away over time. Do not use hair shampoo or detergent to wash your bike. Chain cleaning can be done in between every 500-700kms. Enjoy ⚡️

If u r riding a multi cylinder bike n if u r thinking about modifications of exhaust then u have to worry about air intake n exhaust, because proper air fuel mixture is required for combustion n when rate of exhaust flow changes then it creates an uneven force on crankshaft n the crankshaft gives force back to other pistons which may be in different strokes like power or intake or combustion n this may lead to engine failure due to failure of piston rod but if u r riding a single cylinder bike then u don't have to worry about air n fuel intake if u r thinking about modifications of exhaust because 4 strokes r one after another. But there will be some vibration due to little unbalance of crankshaft caused by negative back pressure

I have a full system exhaust (Daytona-Dagrex) on my Fz 16 - 2013. K&N filter, Gixer Carburator, DB killer in place & a small mesh type cylinder welded into in the bend pipe to control back pressure. likes: smooth sound - 80 Decibels (with additional modifications) Efficiency- 50KMPL @ 4500 RPM 40KMPL @100+ speeds Top Speed - 138 KMPH Less weight (5-6 Kilos weight reduction) Dislikes: Cops, Boring people, excited puppies & cows. Illegal even tho the exhaust is purchased as an accessory from Yamaha showroom engine needs reboring sooner than stock. (Maintanance is the key)

What if i just change the stock air filter to any aftermarket air filter ( BMC , K&N etc... ) without any aftermarket exhaust and mods , only the air filter with stock exhaust . Does that going to affect my bike engine? Do i have to tune my ECU ?

I am a junior mechanic of wedding shop. I was changed many bike's exhaust half and full both system every bikers feedback is positive but some youtuber says that after modification of exhaust milage and pick-up loss but my own experience says the all youtubers are tel a lie .. @ # This is the first video on youtube that person is say truth about change exhaust . @ I am also modified my bike's exhaust and tune the air and petrol balance then the result is more powerful punch and the pick-up is mind blowing.. # Free fall exhaust is always best for any type of engine

Can we not put an aftermarket catalytic converter in a full system exhaust so that we can use it for daily street use and it clears the pollution test as well ?

Yes you can do it but then you need to check emissions norms and get it tested by pollution test ...and also catalytic converters aftermarket will not give you complete performance it will restrict free exhaust air flow but there will be noticeable difference
