Want to hit great wedge shots? You might be surprised on how the tour players hit those low spinning perfect shots.
In this video, with a bit of help from the experts at Callaway Golf I will show you what it takes to be a better wedge player.
About the Single Plane Golf swing:
The Single Plane golf swing is not a quick fix golf technique. It is a system, beginning at address, that simplifies the most important moment of the golf swing - impact.
Starting at address on two planes where the arms hang straight down at address, the Conventional golf swing is complicated. Because the arms are hanging straight down, a conventional golfer must lift the body into impact creating stress on the back.
This upward movement to accommodate the two planes is unnecessary.
The Single Plane Golf swing simplifies the golf swing by eliminating the need for the upward movement by starting and impacting on the same plane.

Todd, you're incredible. In less than 8 minutes you uncovered the secret, revealed the mystery of spinning the ball. The concepts of the single plane swing and the work I did at your clinics has stood the test of time. My version of it may not fit the exact model, but the positions are being hit. This episode ranks super high IMHO. Keep up the great work and thanks.

Thanks Chuck. Amazing what you can learn when you ask experts a few questions. The Techs at Callaway are so knowledgeable. HIs information about how the ball and club work has really helped me too. Thanks for watching.

Awesome video! Very clear and practical. I love the science too! Looking forward to more of these. Todd I have to say that watching some pro's on youtube play golf, I can't believe how crooked and inconsistent they are with especially the Driver, In your videos where you play the golf course, I don't know if you missed a fairway?! You certainly never hit a double cross or even a ball that curved much at all. The misses with your system are so much better.

Todd, ive been watching your videos for a few months. Thought id try it at the range tonight, its genuinely quite unbelievable. Straightest, most consistent and longer ive ever hit it. 6 iron 126mph ball speed. 7 wood 142 ball speed. Fast than usual but wayyy more consistent. Now.. will i take it to the course 🤔 🎖

Hi Todd, do you have any tips as well for when shortsided? Or is it to just avoid being short sided? Thanks

Todd, you mentioned water possibly being on the ball (early tee times and rainy days). How do you compensate or change your technique? Thanks.

Make sure the club face is dry. if the ball is sitting in wet grass, it is likely to have less spin but come out fast so it will roll when it hits the green. Hit one LESS club on the approach. Bottom line is that the ball is going to spin less and you have to accommodate that.

So, you say place the ball "a little back in your stance," but it looks to be farther back than your right foot. Please clarify.
