He didn't remarry until after she died even though they'd been divorced for decades. There's an interview with him a few years before he died where he corrects the interviewer describing her as "the British Marilyn Monroe" to say that Marilyn Monroe was the American Diana Dors

This is not actually accurate. It was the newspapers that put her as a Marilyn copy, but she was better than that and her main issue other than her first husband in particular, was that the media portrayed her as a copy. However, as this session states, she was earthy and loved to be ordinary in later years. Shame 'The Amazing Mr Blunden' wasn't mentioned
