The HIDDEN LORE of TOWER DEFENSE X 

Keep in mind the description of Railgunner: "Like the classic, armed with a railgun. Slow, but super powerful against bosses." Classic. CLASSIC. And I don't know about you, but Railgunner's design seems similar to TB's Railgunner

this is insanely important, if you go to the information area in the lobby there's a desk with a pc and a note which is hard to read but i read something about experiments being conducted on a family. The note is really long though and there's got to be a lot of lore in it.

my theory is that Tower Battles takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where the militaries of the real world are competing against each other to defend against the zombie threat. After many years, tension between the countries starts to fall and eventually, all of the countries unify into 1 super-country with a massive military, and that's where TDX comes in.

The Void coming back as the Nightmare mode boss would be the most game-breaking reveal in roblox history

so my theory is the plague doctor is reviving the tower battles enemies and in some cases giving them new gear like the necromancers (now grenadiers) and making them build robots like the smashers predators and eradicator and he eventually revives the void in a much more powerful form in nightmare mode (the buff void leak) and there will be an actual canon hidden wave in tdx where if you beat nightmare mode in under 20 minutes the advisor says he hears something else coming out and a new narrator called ??? with the icon being 3 green question marks slowly says fine ill do it myself in large green shaky text and then the enhanced plague doctor comes out with 8 million hp (the buff void will have 4 million) and its absolutely huge like the size of a player and it has the eradicator armor an upgraded scythe in one hand and a huge acid thrower in the other which shoots acid killing all towers in an area and temporarily not allowing towers to be placed in that area until the acid wears off (you cant place towers on acid) and its attack pattern is a combination of every boss in the game with a ton of new attacks too like becoming stealth and 100% bullet resistant at the same time forcing you to use laser gunner and flamethrower unit (it will be out by them and it will ship away resistance and at max bottom path (its called 10000 degree fireball cannon which is a huge turret cannon thing that shoots a large aoe fire bomb which does extremely high splash damage and explodes into a huge radius of thermite for a really expensive cost bottom path will be an aoe fireball rocket launcher and then at max a fireball turret cannon thing x-3 flame launcher x-4 hellfire rounds which increases damage and afterburn decreases the firerate and reduces aim time so just on overall increase to every stat x-5 10000 fireball cannon increases every stat greatly adds thermite makes the aoe much larger and makes it instantly chip off all of the enemies resistence but increases firerate and aim time a lot and its very expensive) it will just instantly remove all resistance and beating the enhanced plague doctor doubles your win rewards

the new railgunner tower description also supports this

i love how tdx canonically takes place in the tower battles universe after the defeat of the void and has the tower battles collab making it a fanmade and officially approved sequel for tower battles

ok but the real thing we need to be investigating is: Who is reviving the plague doctor and who made the eradicator and who upgraded the eradicator to the eradicator-mk-2?

To expand further into the lore, when the nightmare mode for tdx came out dr xenon was revealed and she is the main antagonist and said herself she revived these enemies we fight and made the eradicator and it’s mk ll version. And since tdx is new little lore is known but the best theory is tdx is td but in the future where all the zombies fell and dr xenon revived all of them with technology and made them more op.

if you wanna know boss 4 of tb is also exist in tdx which its called as abomination,if you take a look more closer they had the same running animation and the pipe acc,their dead bodies were found by doctor plague and he decides to makes an experiment turning them from boss 4 to abomination,i assume that this is also some of the proof that tdx is the universe after tb correct me if im wrong since its just my theory

Tbh.GDA prob stand for 2 thing is "Global Defense Agency" or "Galactic Defense Agency" also in map while we deployed is SIMULATION command center since if tower is mini and we cant die to enemies that means THAT is simulation command which just show what is in actual battlefield and you must place tower to deploy unit in that specicific spot,so yeah this is my lore theory

in the earlier replys on the group of john saying "tower battles is the founding father of all tower defense games on roblox" in the first reply of the TDX group it might've give the hint of the collab and scullgaming962 saying "tower battles 2 when" and there is no release of tower battles 2 so TDX might be TB2

Alright updated lore: Dr.Xeon she seems to be the cause of the zombies and the bosses as she explains that she didn’t account for the eradicator MkII of causing the chain reaction we see when defeating him and that “Eradicator MKI will come back” the main motivation of sending zombies towards us is simply she doesn’t like the GDA (Who we work for as seen on operator vest) (Keep a look out for her she’s going be appearing in nightmare difficulty)

Random theory: Exo Santa is likely a upgraded or even evolved version of TB santabot, not only both share the similarity of Christmas themed terminator but also have the same abilities

I have 2 theories 1: the plague doctor finds a old battle filed the fight took place in TB he then revives the boss1s and 2s but he isn’t strong enough the revive the others after he dies and gets revived and with more power he brings more zombies to life but he sees no use in boss 3s and 4s 2: the eradicator was build by the person who started the zombie infection in TB and is now making killing machines to aid the zombies in battle. When you beat intermediate mode everyone knows the eradicator flys away. That’s because he was programmed to do that, or maybe he was being controlled by his creator into flying away after that the span of time between intermediate and expert is, I think 8 months to repair the eradicator and turn it into eradicator MK11

Does anybody have the "Eradicator was built by GDA theory"? I think about it a lot. In the new map "Vinland". You are protecting your base, which is the ship in this case. It has a Eradicator statue on it. Also the triangle symbols you see on him can be found on the ship I was talking about, and Laser Gunner. It is shown on the chestplate and I think the helmet. I think that Eradicator was originally built by GDA then got infected or malfunctioned, and he then fought against them. I think of this a lot. Let me know if you guys also think of this. This is a wild theory but it makes sense when you think about it.

I have theory(lore and questions that some asking) After defeating void, zombies retreats and starting develop, but zombies was dump but some of them became smarter by plague doctor, bc advisor said about granadier that they smart but still a zombie. Zombies engineers starts to creating eradicator and eradicator mk2 and also upgrading some zombies and reviews, but towers also were develop becoming stronger and getting new weapons and zombies need somehow hinder their development, but eradicators was still in progress. So plague doctor with his army go to attack towers but they lost while eradicator was ready to attack. While army and eradicator were attacking towers, zombies took dead body plague doctor and engineers reviewed doctor and after that they continued finishing eradicator mk2. But nightmare difficult still not finished, but maybe boss will be reviewed void and maybe also some others variations of void(I think this gonna be in Ultra difficult but not sure :P), bc void in tower battles changed some times, from little white red voids to giant red black and to purple black (Also sorry for my bad eng)

He was right about void coming back but just and also it's just not that obvious the final boss of endless mode is it called calamity and they don't look like anything that was made by the main enemy dr zeon and has the same body shape as void and it's as big as void my theory is that went to hell and came back that's why he's being sucked back in to a red pit when he dies in the pit gets sealed back up and also calamity it seems like something is trying to break out of it it is cracking

i think that advisor is a mercenary from tower battles but in the future cuz of the red beret on his head and his mention : its in 1:16 + i had play tb alot and mercenery was good tower to kill boss 1 in tb soo its not suprised why he might remember the rivived boss 1

my theory is very simple after the tower battles army defeated the void and his zombies some unknown being (the nightmare boss or it could be just void again) revived most of the zombies and made his own creating plague doctor and eradicator during the time being, commando seeing this became the advisor and recruited new soldiers to fight incluiding boats and ships and commander either died or retired, long time later the original tower battles crew (or most of it) would come back has the skins and would fight until the revelation of the nightmare boss which is the leader of the army

The tower we see is a reference from other Command and Conquer game unit Ranger the US fighting man back bone grunts Missile Trooper are missile defender USAs Anti Tank Infantry Behemoth reference to the GDI heavy tank the Mammoth Tank so does War Machine to the Titan Mk1 a d Juggernaut GDIs mechanised Walker also the Laser Gunner is a reference to the Ranger Laser of Laser General Townes infantry the farm looks like Supplydrop a building by USA most other feature units are based on Command and Conquer game

This is true, but what about Tower Blitz , it has the void boss too. Then if you defeat the void boss it says "fine ill do it myself" in the same why you said it, also it had 1.2 million hp in tower blitz. IF you notice all the towers in all the three games are similar. ALSO I feel like the og was TDS then tower battles then tower blitz then TDX. If you notice all these towers or units look the same to the tower. Now it could be Tower Battles/TDS/Tower Blitz THEN TDX. I think these are the countries the Tower Battles/TDS/Tower Blitz and they have their own military. Also note TDS has similar enemies as Tower Battles. I think these Countries decided to Merge and make GDA (Grand Defense Administration) that's why they call it the Grand Defense Administration cuz its huge.

So that why we'll have buffed void on nightmare mode

TDX is basically Tower Battles 2, without pvp. Atleast for now there's no pvp mode
