Thank you for your explanation. I recognise that there are differing opinions and interpretations. However, there has to be a line to be drawn between right use and wrong use! An example of this, the firey serpent on a pole was a symbol of hope (as well as an international symbol of the medical profession) which was a good use but when people started worshipping it or used it as superstitious thing they had to be destroyed because it has become a distraction. As for Star of David, it is a symbol of the existence of Israelites though it may not have been a biblical mandate. The other side of it, is that there has been a widespread abuse of it which many used it for mystical purposes, paganism et al. In that case, we need to have a discerning spirit!

Seriously, you misunderstood Revelations, period. Remember in the NT that we Christians have a promise from God as well. At midnight on the winter solstice there are three bright stars (Procyon, Betelguese, Sirius) that are due south and form an equilateral triangle pointed down. On the summer solstice at midnight there are also three bright stars (Vega, Rashelhague, Altair) due south that form an equilateral triangle pointed up.
