The HIGH STILE Ridge // The Lake District 

There are a few ridge walks in the Lake District and people will instantly think of places like Striding Edge or Sharp Edge but never consider the other broader ridges as 'ridges'. The High Stile ridge might not get the blood pumping like its narrower cousins but the incredible views into several valleys and towards some of Lakeland's most iconic mountains certainly make this one of the finest ridge walks in the area.
A grand day was had. Very few folk on the fells and the weather was both challenging and exhilarating in equal measure. A highly recommended walk.
