Spark is my favorite, but I’m very picky about the orders I take. I’d rather take an order with no tip, just to make sure I don’t get tip baited. I rarely do the delivery only orders, unless I’m trying to reach an incentive. Great video and you picked the right app as the winner!👍
@@reedtheinfiniteTip baiting happens when a customer purposefully places an order with a large tip to attract a driver to accept the trip and then recalling or removing the tip upon delivery. (Yes they can do this) This mischievous behavior happens on all app platforms. Although not very common but does happen from time to time. Now you may ask why do this? Well for several reasons… To insure the order is accepted and delivered in a timely manner regardless of distance, time and location.
Thanks for the mention! In major markets where the Draiver app is busy it has added value because other than if you're driving the chase car you're not putting miles on your own vehicle, less gas, less wear and tear on your car.
No worries, Kevin! Thanks again for letting me use the screenshots! Well said. I don't really want to drive my car 1,000 miles, but for the right price, I'll drive someone else's! lol
All I know is dashing from my house in my small town used to be pretty decent but it's horrible now. I have to dash from the larger town near me if I want to make any money. High inflation and stagnant wages are definitely causing less people to use delivery apps.
Hey Nate! It's definitely rough out there for most of us right now. I'm glad you have a spot you're able to go to where you still get some level of consistency though.
Zach you are definitely on top of your game..just came across your channel..what clear and concise information..I was blown away.your delivery is laser focused..thanks for the information..much appreciated
I would like a video on lesser known gig apps. Granted I live in a town with only 65k people so i doubt most of them are around here but still, could be cool.
Oh random side note. Made my largest tip ever on valentines day. Was a 30 dollar uber eats order. A 20 dollar tip with 10 dollar base pay. Man i wish uber eats was more popular here i would ditch door dash. Funny thing was i was on a 3 dollar door dash order when it came in and i normally dont take two orders at once but it was too good. I knew the place i was picking up from always took a little while so i figured i had time to drop my door dash off first and i was right, even had a small wait once i got there so worked out.
Uber eats orders tend to be better than door dash orders but in my area they just dont happen often enough. I can sit for an hour and not get one easy.
loved this video, I'm getting sick of my current job and bored/tired of the wage grind. Thanks to this channel I plan on doing gig work soon, my financial situation is in a good spot were I don't need to make a whole lot to live.
Thank you! If you want to try gig work, I'd consider doing it part time for 1 full year before doing it full time just so you can see what every season is like. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to reach out!
I personally would start now or soon. I am planning on selling my house and starting over at 62. I have been doing gig work for only three months and decided that I like it enough to continue with no matter what other job I will have. This additional money will help you get in a better financial situation faster. Also it takes awhile to figure out what you like, for instance I started with Instacart and realized in less than 20 batches that I do not like it (although I know people who love it),I prefer to go into a restaurant, get the food and go. Good luck either way!
Hey Justin! If I were to rank them just based on my market, the list probably would have been a bit different. I did my best to rank them based on the information people share with me from markets all over the country. I hope all is well man!
Spark it’s not easy making good money. It’s hit miss on days. You really do need to find orders with tips because you will make peanuts if not. Rarely you see high delivery pay unless drivers keep rejecting the original offer that’s when it shoots up. But usually i average $80 to $120 a day doing it 6 to 8 hrs. I fill up once a day $30 t0 $35. So I also DD to help cover the gas costs or ubereasts. The only time I hit $200 was when they did a good incentive. That’s the only way you’ll come up is with the incentives 😅
Thanks for your valuable information. I recently signed up to Uber Eats in San Diego. I'm upset and disgusted that I missed their 30 day deadline to potentially earn $2400 extra promotional money for new drivers. Does that sound too good to be true? Have you heard anything like that?
I live in Monclair NJ and Uber gives me the worst orders... GH while ON SCHEDULE is actually pretty good on most days doing this part time. On a really good day, almost half the time you can make +3 per mile. or more
Like Zach said...it all depends on the market! I actually really like his video because he covers most if not all questions ppl may have if you listened attentively! For me, DD is my favorite in my market...just to give you an idea of where l'm coming from, on Memorial Monday in downtown Boston l made about $480...of course there are alot of factors that made it happen but l believe the biggest one was the last game between Celtics & Miami Heat!!😂😂
I do what I really like doing and thats Food delivery . I really don’t like stop and shop offers . Also im part time so I guess I can be a little more picky 😅
Instacart is crap. I’m a Diamond Cart Shopper, have a perfect rating, zero cancellation rate, priority access, fast shopping speed, and wait hours for decent batches. Even at hit stores there aren’t any batches sent my way for over an hour at a time. I live in Dallas too. It’s a busy city. Instacart was great during the holiday, but then it got miserably bad when the weather got nice starting in March.
that's because some people are using a bot or some device to block the signal for the delivers. they taking all the orders You need to talk with someone inside of Walmart
I signed up for spark with your referral code but of course there's a wait. Also just wanted to say that I'm currently using doordash and Uber eats. There are things I like about both and things I don't like about both, but I can be in a scheduled dash and be getting nothing but crickets from DD, but I get bombarded with crap offers from UE. I deliver in cities north of Atlanta. Thanks for your informative videos. 😊
How do you get on a waiting list for sparks. When I try to sign up for it i get told there are to many people and to try again later. Nothing about a wait list.
Sorry, I don't want anything to do with Walmart or their customers. I'm doing Door Dash part time 25 hours a week and making $400 a week. That's enough to save, fix my car, new dishwasher and pay off medical bills. Not luxury vacation here, just trying to get by.
Spark is dead in MI. Less than 30% of last years earning potential. Today I have been active since 6:30 AM and now it is 6:17 PM. I've taken every even remotely decent offer that has come my way today. 40$ - gas and taxes. I've made less than 4$ per hour.
It seems like people have one of two thoughts on UE, it's either great for them or it's horrible. I guess I'm lucky to be in the market I'm in with UE. I'm curious to hear what makes them your favorite if they're not all that great in your market?
The Spark thing is spot on! Been doing it for a while and make $1.5 a week. Love it! Glad Walmart a Billion Dollar company pays us well for the service we provide.❤
@@jamescox9084 if that’s what you get per order and that’s all you see when you get on to deliver then I’m sorry for you but you’re in a terrible market. My market I’m in I’m doing HUGE numbers and consistently. Sorry for you
So true! For me in my market, I try to go for $2.00 per mile with a minimum of $1.50 per mile. That amount fluctuates with the price of gas though. I also don't move for less than $6.00. Keep up the good work!
Hey all. I’m aware I made a spelling error. I caught it after the video was uploaded and wasn’t going to pull it to fix one small thing, spend all the time rendering it again, then wait hours while it uploaded again. I know how to spell greatest lol... This is why you don't stay up until 6 AM editing.
@@ZachDrivesFast Actually, thanks to your video, I just learned about spark. Now I feel like a cave dweller. I knew you could get delivery from our local WM but didnt realize it was a gig driver job. Signed up last night... waitlisted of course.
Oh man, that couldn't be further from the experience I get in my market. I'd say 75% of the single offers I get are at least $7.00 going within a few miles.
Hey Zach! Hope you're doing well! -:) Thx. for sharing a few other apps and your personal faves. and why!-;) Yes, would love for you to do another video on some of the other less apps you find or have done!-;) Take care and hope all your shifts are prosperous!-;) PS:: Hey, good content doesn't have to be purrfect!-;) 😂 Oopsy, pardon my misspelling pun!-;) 😂
😂😂 I was so frustrated with myself when I realized I made that mistake. I guess that's why I shouldn't stay up until 6 AM editing lol. I'm going to start working on the other video. Hopefully it'll be done within the next month or so.
@@ZachDrivesFast Hey, yeah, always thought creativity peaks @ ' wee hrs;' however, I think you've mentioned, previously, that mornings aren't really you're forte! 😂 Anyhow, still, you provide good content and hope you, your son, and cat are doing well!-:() Take care and have a good weekend!-:()
Hey Jack! If you're on Spark, I'd do Spark and DD as you can see the exact drop off location. Not the address on DD, but the road it's on, so it's a safe bet. If you're not on Spark, I'd go for UE and DD. GH and DD can be a good mix if you already have the GH in the car as they can be much slower getting orders out to you.
I know that feeling all too well lol. I've gotten pretty good about being able to recognize the street names at the bottom of the Uber offers now though. It's helped keep me away from there. Don't get me wrong, for the right pay, I'm there all day long, but $12 isn't going to cut it for me driving out there and back. 😅
If you saw the small space I'm recording it, it would make more sense. I promise I'm not going to crawl out of the screen that that chick from the grudge and get you though lol.
Fck DoorDash. A customer lied and said I took their food after taking a picture, (have never done that on any platform I work off) and after an "investigation" they concluded the customer had sufficient "proof" which boggles my fkn mind since it never happened but after trying to appeal over and over I get nothing but rubber stamp responses and my account still deactivated.
I hate UberEATS the deactivated my account and didn't even let me know why and i just got my doordash deactivated my account because they had a glitch everytime i had accept an ordered the order will say the order was completed i communicate with them
Most UNDER-RATED UNKNOWN GIG. I'm not an all caps person, although w/ this being 5 months old, unsure you'd see this.. I'm a 35yr Professional Driver, tho also four times disabled, and denied most all benefits from working my tail off and getting hurt. I've been w/ Dryver Inc for 9yrs Sept. You go to the Client and drive their car. Mostly large SUV's. I've never seen any advertisement or ads hunting for drivers. Yes, when I started it was so minimal it was hardly worth it. They are building, recently adding WorkMarket for 2 day instead of 2 weeks to get paid. One tends to have to be persistant to get onboard. It's; Nationwide, recent pay increase to $21 an hr plus tips (it was $14 an hr + for 6yrs), 98% of offers via text, (occasionally they'll call even if you declined trip), never ever docked for declining trip, high demand in certain areas such as Tampa FL, all scheduling done online, interview online, if customer doesn't cancel 48hrs before you'll generally get half of trip pay, added 10% pay for 5 Star reviews, professional dress code, must contact customer 15 mins after accepting trip, arrive 15 mins early for trip. There use to be a 4hr trip minimum, but they are changing that, digging for trips like Airport runs. Most all trips are for events or out for dinner and clubing. Although I've driven for Attorneys and Real Estate ppl, mainly a roundtrip and not waiting alone in car long. I'm sure there is something else I could throw in there, but that is most of it. They do have Partner Trips, explained on Website. Because the charge is a bit more, and you're driving Clients car, you are working for higher end Clients. I've never once heard of an ugly/scary experience, nor have I had one. Though I started driving Limos since 1988, so I've seen a lot of crazy.. I just subscribed.. Just signed up w/ UE, not worked yet. On wait list for, DD and GH. Tho after watching a few of your videos thinking I need to branch out. IC reducing minimum from $7 to $4, idk about all that!
