Umling La is the highest motorable pass in the world, tucked into the Himalayas in northern India. Team CTXP sets out from a few hundred feet above sea level in Delhi in the hopes that they can overcome rainstorms, washed-out roads, and oxygen deprivation to make it to more than 19,000 feet. Will Zack and Spurg conquer the highest road in the world?

It was also my dream trip. Did this trail last year for the first time, the roads were better last year although we also tried few offroad routes. It is actually very difficult to maintain good roads here because every rainy season, river and landslides just wipe them all away but even after all that, this is one of the best thing I did in my life. This year we did sikkim, another great route in central Himalayas. Just as amazing and challenging.

I agree and there are many great creators on RU-vid, particularly in motovlogging. It is why I rarely watch regular TV of any sort. Plus it’s fun and satisfying to create. Even if you have a small channel and only reach a few thousand people, unlike these two who have a vast following.

I remember a friend and I were in Oregon and heading towards Reno. We got within 30 miles of Reno when a wildfire shut down Hwy 395. No biggie, we will make a detour to I80, or so we thought. The fire spread and shut down all routes to interstate 80. We initially tried to brave the off road path, but it was talcum powder, and neither my sportbike, nor his cruiser were gonna make it that way. We ended up having to turn around and go BACK up 395, cross into Nevada in the northern border, then drop back down on a 400 mile detour. Buddy dumped the bike on a blind corner in the middle of the night (he and the bike were both ok), not a single car the whole way, but we finally pulled into Reno in the early morning after about 17hrs of riding. While I wasnt happy at the time, it made some of my best motorcycling memories, and I wouldnt change it for the world.

This is Indias Holy Grail of Biking, every bike enthusiast does it once in life. After watching you and Itchy boots recently on the same routes, I can say that bikes do make a difference, yes the Triumphs can go there, but this would be much more fun on an Adv bike. Norlay did made it look easy but the reality is its not that easy for obvious reasons, the altitude, challenging road conditions and the breathlessness, nonetheless it's all worth it in the end as its one of the most beautiful places to take your bike to and ride, hope you guys had fun. I’ve said it before - content like this makes me proud to be a Revzilla customer. The fact is they’re a great retailer already, plus offer terrific product and Shop Manual videos, but then they produce amazing CTXP videos like this when they don’t have to…I love it! Well done to the entire team. These journeys are inspiring. Thank you!

They also don’t push their own website really at all. Lots of other places would turn this into a commercial of sorts. Fortnite is the same way, possibly better, you’d almost never know they were a retailer.

@@chrisd4813 I mean, I guess I understand their similarities aesthetically, but like the Bonneville is like double the price of the interceptor. I guess I just assumed that the people who have five grand to spend on a motorcycle, and the people have 10 are just completely different markets.

Guys, there's so much to unpack here. Video production, direction, editing, writing, all brilliant! I've been to India 5 times and have always wanted to do something like this on my trips. The problem was that they were business trips and my employer wouldn't just let me wander off on a bike for a couple of weeks. The baby Bonnevilles looks like they were more than up to the task and that's great news. As the owner of a T120, I've been eyeing these since their launch. Too bad Ari didn't make the trip, but Spurg is great and Zach never disappoints. What a couple of lucky dogs, trip of a lifetime! Awesome, just awesome!

Indian here. When you guys were talking about covering 300 miles in 3 hours..I was like what the hell are you talking about? Covering 300 miles during the monsoon through Indian Urban and Mountainous roads? These guys are in for a shocker. I remember in my Kathmandu solo trip, I underestimated the last leg of 60kms on himalayan road in nighttime during monsoon, and it took me 4 hours of grueling to cover that distance, whereas I had covered previous 440 kms in 10 hours including frequent breaks and stops.
