I’m probably one of the very few who enjoyed those eagles jerseys. They were old and it was nice to give homage to their history when they first entered the league.

Kitna threw for 446 yards, McNabb 381. Westbrook ended up with 110 yards on the ground. Curtis and Williams were both over 200 receiving yards.

The Lions could have saved their embarrassment if only they scored 3/4 of those times they went for the 4th down in field goal range.

Westbrook was criminally underrated.

The Lions would also go on to play in the highest scoring 4th quarter later that year against Chicago.

I kinda like these ugly throwbacks that some teams resurface. Kinda makes them special especially when you know you're probably never gonna see them again for a long time.

Fun fact, the Carolina Panthers current defensive coordinator, Phil Snow, last coached in the NFL on this staff, including the 0-16 squad the next season. The fact he was mentored by the guys who coached in this game and somehow led his unit to allowing the 2nd-least yards in the NFL in his second year as DC is a miracle
