The highlands just opened in Iceland - Exploring the desert [With my Dji Pocket 3 and Mavic 3 Pro] 

With a good weather forecast and the highlands here in Iceland opening up, we decided to head out for the weekend. The main goal was to reach Mælifell, a mountain up in the black deserts of Iceland.
As some of the roads opened up just the same day or the day before, there's always a lot of uncertainty around them, with mud and water being the biggest potential obstacles at this time of the year.
We did get further than I thought we would, and got some amazing scenery on the way.
