Great partnerships to showcase great songwriting by women in music. Equality for all in the music industry is more of a reality now thanks to these determined musicians.

The song isn't for just one group. I'm a straight man with a fondness for occasional crosdressing. It started during a long term relationship with my children's mother. Long story short we didn't stay together. When I listen to this song I think of that relationship and our split. "If she ever leaves me, it won't be for you" is me telling my ex that I'm not going to stop expressing a feminine side of me for a woman because she refuses to accept it." P.S. I bought the album after hearing their appearance on Howard Stern. Months later I actually listened to these lyrics and thought oh s**t, this fits my story and feelings.
