ഞാൻ ബാംഗ്ലൂർ ഇൽ ജോലി ചെയ്ത പല IT സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിലും കണ്ട ഒരു കാര്യം ആണ്.. ചില മുസ്ലിം പെൺകുട്ടികൾ nikab ഇട്ടു വീട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് വരും, ഓഫീസിൽ വന്നു വാഷ്‌റൂമിൽ അത് ചേഞ്ച് ചെയ്യും. ഒരിക്കൽ ഞാൻ ഒരു കുട്ടിയോട് ചോദിച്ചു, ഒന്നുകിൽ fulltime ഇടുക അല്ലെങ്കിൽ fulltime ഇടാതെ ഇരിക്കുക..എന്തിനാണ് ഇങ്ങനെ ഓഫീസിൽ വന്നു മാറ്റുന്നത് എന്ന്. She said.. ഇത് ഇടാതെ വീട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് ഇറക്കില്ല.. പക്ഷെ she doesnt like to wear. അപ്പൊ ഇതൊക്കെ അവരവരുടെ ചോയ്സ് ഒന്നും അല്ല. When they have to make a choice between wearing nikab/hijab and not working at all, they are forced to wear it. ഇപ്പൊ ഈ കുട്ടികൾ പറയുന്നതു hijab/nikab നിരോധിച്ചാൽ അവരുടെ education എന്ന right ഇല്ലാതെ ആകും എന്നാണ്. അതായത്, ഈ വസ്ത്രം ഇടാതെ ഇപ്പൊ ഈ കുട്ടികളെ school അറ്റൻഡ് ചെയ്യാൻ അവരുടെ family/സമൂഹം അവരെ അനുവദിക്കുന്നില്ല. That according to me is the biggest violation of human rights. ഇത് ഒരിക്കലും സംഗികളുടെ സൈഡ് പിടിച്ചു പറയുന്നതല്ല. അവർ അവരുടെ അജണ്ട നടപ്പാക്കുന്നു.. അതെ സമയം muslims ന്റെ victimization സ്റ്റോറി isnt what I can accept as well..

ഇത് പറയാൻ ധൈര്യം കാണിച്ചതിന് നന്ദി.. മത വിശ്വാസങ്ങളേക്കാൾ ശാസ്ത്ര ചിന്തകൾക്കും മാനവികതയ്ക്കും പ്രാധാന്യം കൊടുക്കുന്ന ഒരു പുതിയ തലമുറയ്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി പ്രവർത്തിച്ചെ മതിയാവൂ ഇതൊക്കെ മനസ്സിലാക്കിയിട്ടുള്ളവരെങ്കിലും 🙏

ആവശ്യത്തിന് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം കിട്ടിയിട്ടും ഈ കുട്ടികളൊക്കെ choice ആണ് choice ആണ് എന്നും പറഞ്ഞ് നടക്കുന്നത് എന്താണെന്നു ഒട്ടും മസ്നസ്സിലാവുന്നല്ല. ഇവിടെ സുലു മമ്മുട്ടിക്കും, അമാൽ ദുൽഖർ സൽമാനും, നസ്രിയ ഫഹദിനും, സമ ആസിഫ് അലിക്കും ഒക്കെ ഇത് choice ആയിരിക്കും ബാക്കി സാധാരണ വീട്ടിലെ സ്ത്രീകൾക്കും ഇത് choice ആണോ!

My mom told me that, when she was studying in school no Muslim girls wore hijab and Muslim women never wore Pardha at that time. Now even small girls are forced to wear pardha and nobody is raising voice against that. Now everyone will call me sanghi.. Iam against Hindu women covering their face in North India. During my +2 time my parents forced me to wear hijab. I never liked it. Since I'm living under their roof and having the food they provide, i should obey my "master's " order...... I don't even like wearing a shawl.... Now I'm studying hard to earn a job then i can escape from this prison.....

I dont know how much of this is right. But in my opinion, wearing a scarf or hijab or any kind ornaments which is appropriate according to a religion in schools can be allowed, If a person wishes to wear it. But that should be their personal decision. The thing that bothered me the most is how can these teens are willing to go against their friends for a religion and harass them? Most of the medias shows photos of girls wearing burkha but uniform in മേലെ ഹിജാബ് ഇട്ടവരെ തടഞ്ഞ reports കണ്ടിരുന്നു.ഇതിൽ ഒരു clarity വരുത്തേണ്ടത് അത്യാവശ്യമാണ്. I wear it by now not because of my religion . because it became a part of me , that I am so uncomfortable not wearing it . At times wearing hijab need not be always linked fully to the religion. at times it depends on the extend of modesty a person prefer to choose. I don't find my western friend , who wear above the knee dresses as immodest. term modesty differ from person to person. imagine your mother holds on to our culture so much and she prefer to wear only saree anywhere. these days some restaurants allow only ppl with Western clothes. as per her wish u took her to that restaurant and how will u feel when the receptionist refuse your mother to get in because of the modest clothing ur mother is so used to for years . Brother , be kind and considerate . I feel you are. beliefs will come and go. I am a hijabi. but if my daughter will wear what she likes. live and let live. beliefs as long as it do not cause any harm , we need not worry. hijab is wrong , when it is forced to be worn as part of patriarchy
