It wasn’t all fake. My friend was a producer on the show. It got significantly more fake as time went on. Once Kristin arrived it was basically all scripted and fake. But before that, it was just kind of manipulated by the producers. A lot of the cast didn’t know they were being manipulated, however. So it was basically manipulated reality.

Everyone seems to hate Spencer but does anyone else actually find it hilarious and refreshing that they’re honest? Like real and open about their desire to be rich and famous... most famous people are SO up on their high horse and lie about it all so much. In my irrelevant opinion Heidi and Spencer shouldn't be given another platform to spread their negative energy. How can MTV bring this back as they ended it making a joke at viewers that it was all staged and scripted. This is like a bad low budget soap opera at this point. Stick a fork in it!
