I am a Christian woman & I have read some of the history of Mohammad. In this history, Arabs used to look after Christians & Jews, while their persecutions were happening, but after the Crusades all this changed. A question I have is that Mohammads wife was a strong & Independant woman, & didn't try to change that after they were married. She still ran the business. I am curious to know how this part changed & women are meant to be submissive instead of working, strong & independent?
The book was corrupted. They started out as Christians, but was influenced later on by demons, probably. It is strange to go from respect to treating women as less than slaves. There was no Judaism or Christianity until the time of Jesus, peace be upon him. The Jews who refused to believe in the virgin birth of Jesus, pbuh, formed a new religion called Judaism. Those Jews who started believing Jesus, pbuh, was the son of God formed a new religion called Christianity. Those Jews who believed in Jesus, pbuh, as a true prophet of God were the Muslims of that time. God revealed the Quran to correct both these groups. The Quran revealed very clearly that the only religion acceptable to God is Islam and if anyone comes to God with a religion other than Islam it will never be accepted from him and he will be among the losers in the next life. Allah is the Arabic word for God. Different languages use different words for the Supreme Being. For example the French word for God is Dieu. The Italian word for God is Dio. The German word for God is Gott and so on. That doesn’t mean that the French, Italians and Germans worship different gods. People who try to mislead others give them the impression that Christians worship God while Muslims worship Allah. Allah is the same God who created the heavens and the earth, who gives life and death. He is the God who created the human being to test him, whether the human being will believe in Him or not, whether the humans will obey Him or not. He has fixed a day for judgement when He will reward or punish people. Allah is the One when He intends something He commands “Be” and it is. He created Adam, peace be upon him, by command “Be” and he was without a father or a mother. He created Jesus, peace be upon him, by His command “Be” and he was without a father. Allah is the Creator of the cause. He is not dependent on the cause. The cause is dependent upon His command. For example, a person may take all the medicines but unless Allah commands the medicine to cure it will not cure. Everyone is dependent on Allah whether he knows it or not.
The Quran is the only Divine Revelation in its purest form. The books revealed to previous prophets are not available in their purest form. Any discussion about those books which have been changed is not proper because what the Jews and Christians are reading today is not the books revealed to the prophets. What they consider to be the word of God is not the word of God. It doesn’t matter what they say because it has no validity for Muslims.

I a devoted Christian , do understand and can live in a Muslim World and will easily survive there , but can and will never accept their Faith about God, s Way of making us righteous before Himself . Talking about been Muslim which means to be Submissive to God . Christians are the True Muslim as far as what The word Muslim means . We Christians believed what God did and what God said about Jesus.

Islam does not accept salvation thru Jesus! That’s a big difference. I’m a Christian and when I was stationed in Turkey I learned a lot about Islam and thru studying I’ve learned even more. I’m Hispanic, Islam and Judaism have heavily influenced Iberian society. I have no doubt I have Jewish and Arabic markers in my DNA. Islam is a beautiful religion. WE JUST NEED TO LIVE IN PEACE!
