I was looking for some sort of criticism on the amount of waste that kpop albums generate. People buy large amounts of albums for the photo cards, never intending to listen to the music, getting rid of photo books. It's just such a waste. CDs used to come in jewel cases with a booklet and that was it. The experience was the music. Now it's an unboxing experience, photos, different versions for each member. It's no longer about the music, it's about the cardboard. And I'm not here to tell anyone how to use their money, but it's gotten tona point where albums are bought to get PCs and dispose of everything else
totally agree with you! it's definitely super wasteful and with the comparison of physical sales to streams, you could tell it's not about the music. 😬
