After Adobe bought Macromedia in 2005, they turned Flash into a giant force to be reckoned with, especially in web games. It became a huge business and arguably made the independent developer viable!
Unfortunately, by 2020; Flash's reign on the web was over after years of a war with the media, but with some help; many games from the era have been preserved. How did it get to this desperate state after years of success?
