What I really love is how geniusly his name was used in Japanese. For those unaware, Farfetch'd's name in Japenese is Kamonegi so when gesturing opponents towards him he literally says "Come on". I'm not sure it was intentional but it was still very cool even to where he still does it as Sirfetch'd when it's name is Negigaknight. Never change Kamon.

I do agree with Farfetch'd's personality being unique. Instead of disobey Ash and acting on his own accord because he believes he's a weak trainer like Charizard, he instead saw him as a more of a means to an end and not much else. He wants to fight strong Pokemon and Ash allows him access to them. Until the Wikstrom episode, that's as far as it got. I'm glad that it got to stregthen it's bond with Ash and grow into a chivalrous knight.

farfetch'd/sirfetch'd is definitely one of my favorite pokemon, and ash's is no exception! although it sucked that it got little to no episodes focused on it after his debut (as at that time the anime was more or so focused on ash and riolu's relationship) i'm so happy that farfetch'd finally got the attention it deserved. his development from starting as a selfish pokemon that only cared about getting stronger to becoming a selfless knight that would do anything to protect his trainer was wonderful. i hope to see how sirfetch'd does in the future of pokemon journeys!! great video as always!! :D

Kanto Farfetch’d is still my favorite Pokémon (also Galarian after all) and was thrilled when he got an evolution and amazed that ash got one. Hopefully he’ll be an ace and not filler.

Farfetchds galorian form makes me like & appreciate farfechtd even more! Especially the one that joined the team of ash Ketchum in the journey series. Because I love the way it looks!. It’s galorian form looks so much cooler than his old kanto form in my opinion. 😁👍

Ironically, I nicknamed my Sirfetch'd (Yes, I FINALLY got Pokémon Sword!) "Cloud." He evolved in his very first battle (which ironically was my next rival battle with Hop.) He got three crits in a row by using Rock Smash on Hop's Thwackey, almost at the cost of KO'ing. I took the risk to see if Cloud, with 3 HP, could get in that third crit. Luckily, he did, won me the battle, and evolved! (Also, my Eevee, Kimbra, evolved into Sylveon as a result of that same rival battle because she took out Wooloo to level up!)

So far Sirfetch'd is showing a lot of promise especially with Ash's third battle with Bea. Yeah it lost, but it still put up a great fight and left me looking forward to whenever we might see it in battle again, ESPECIALLY the Brutal Swing shield toss. That was awesome.

It's always been kinda sad to me how Ash only got to use 2 Galar Pokemon on his journeys team, instead of the usual 5. I think Galar has a lot of really awesome Pokemon that would work great on his team, and Sirfetch'd is a clear example of this.

@@ProfessorAlexSilver Especially having some of the best moments the only downside here is Hawlucha not using a flying type attack I'm not sure where X-Scissor even came from despite not fitting its battle style other than breakthrough Trick Room but Wing Attack would've been a better pick plus it can replace Karate Chop w/Fire Punch or Brick Break to give it boost w/its fist already!

Kamonegi/Sirfetch'd development shows the best of what Journeys can accomplish, it made me love galarian farfetch'd and sirfetch'd even more than I already did, I like lucario but sirfetch'd is always going to be the true fighting type star in my eyes.

I'm writing a spec script on this, but Buizel & Farfetch'd are probably the two most similar. Hawlucha is more a hero/showman imo. Buizel & Farfetch'd didn't care about anyone but themselves when they first debuted

For me, it's the storyline that matters most. The battles are fun to point out and track, but the character growth is my favorite part of the series. I mentioned this in my Lapras video way back, but my favorite part of the character is that Lapras' narrative growth is unique & more about overcoming adversity than battling (it only had one tie afterall)

No, I thought there wasn't enough to do on Sirfetch'd so I only focused on its time as Fsrfetch'd

this mighty mallard needs more love. i mean, i feel in love with G. Farfetch'd and Sirfetch'd (though the former over the later for me~). there was just something about this look in it's eyes, the darker coat and the anime showing a more Samurai style of fighting over it's evolution's knight stance.

I'll wait for my favorite kamon to learn meteor assault, quite disappointed when it battled Bea for the 2nd time when he is now a sirfetch'd and still lost to Hawlucha and never learned meteor assault. But anyway thanks for a great lesson professor 😉
