@Berliner Stadtschloss Michallo50 was right. The name "Berlin" is based in an old slavic language. The syllable "brl" means "wet, marsh ..." The old slavic roots you can also see in names like Pankow, Köpenick and so on. Only an idiot negates historical evidences.

Stop claiming ! The few sorbeans are Germans minorities..means they are considered as Germans Nationals like the Tatars in Russia or Poland.
