Nice to see her fully evolved. The perfect Pokemon to represent Brocks goal development in D/p. It was strong which represented how powerful of a breeder he is and then evolving when Brock knew he wanted to be a doctor then evolving again when Brock was a full on Pokemon Doctor. Happiny represented Brock perfectly imo
@@ProfessorAlexSilver It’s kinda cool about how a happiny can evolve into such a powerhouse Edit: For Some reason, Its kinda cool that happiny looks more then blissey then chansey.
@@hendrahendra how is his pikachu trash? I mean, that Pikachu doesn't need G-max soup to gigantamax, can ignore typings and has a thick plot armor. How is that trash?
The relationship Brock shares with Happiny has always been phenomenal and adorable. Watching her lift an entire lake is a scene I will never forget! Great video as always Professor!
Brock’s blissey having that strength as a happiny was funny while sorta scary in a sense but I honestly really like how blissey was so willing to help Brock when required
Diamond and Pearl probably had the best cast of main Pokemon in the entire anime. Each Pokemon had so much personality and heart and that definitely includes this little pink treasure.
Happiny being comically strong and over powered makes me wish her hidden ability was huge power or something else like that, or a gift one with strength to imitate it. Also happiny only used secret power once in Dimond and pearl
If Cynthia hasn’t interrupted the fight, there’s no doubt in my mind that Blissey could fully take Team Galactic. And I do mean all of them, all the grunts, all the admins, Cyrus, Heatran, none of them stand a chance.
It was rather funny at times when happiny would lift an enormous boulder with ease, despite being so small. Perhaps for your next Brock centered video you could do sudowoodo since there aren't many Pokémon left from Brock's team to cover and given sudowoodo went back to his roots as a rock type-based gym leader/trainer.
I always thought Happiny was the best addition to Brock's team, and, overall... He was best in Sinnoh. I would love to see more of his arc as a doctor in the future, other than just cameos or just brief mentions. Like have a whole special later when Brock returns, that is canon, involving that... And I can think of a certain Pokemon of Ash's that can be brought back, too, considering its history with a certain Pokemon belonging to a Nurse Joy... That could work. Anyways, Happiny was a great personality and made Brock an even more likable character than he was before. I would love to see Blissey back again for sure.
Love seeing Brock’s growth and development over the last 25 years. Would love to see him enter a tournament and have a full 6v6 battle showcasing everything that he has learned.
When this episode was about to air, I was trying to do Brock's Pokemon only heartgold nuzlocke and I wished if Brock's chansey and marshtomp would have evolved it will be a good fight against Red. And the next day he had a blissey lol. I still wish he had a swampert.
I believe Happiny had super strength due to the high HP stat. Attack is different from lifting things as it more focuses on destructive power then carrying/lifting things. (stamina can be interpreted by HP a well.) It was more for a comic relief character but that is what I believe they based it off of.
I loved that as a Happiny she had a surprisingly and hilarious physical super strength, and now when she returned as a Blissey she has MEGAton strength
Considering Blissey and hell, even Chansey with an evolite is ridiculously strong (and annoying to deal with) maybe the fact it has a low attack stat is a blessing in disguise. I mean, can you imagine dealing with a competitive Blissey that can move an entire frozen lake!? Thank you so much for covering one of the most wholesome Pokémon relationships in the show, Professor! I truly think that Blissey is one of Brock’s best additions, representing how much care he gives to the Pokémon he caters. :)
the timing of this video is absolutely perfect i have been in quite the blissey obsession lately, when i saw it in the Scarlet and Violet trailer, i literally screamed
Honestly diamond and pearl was one of the best Pokemon shows ever. Whether it was infernape's Arc, the rivalry between Ash and Paul and the development of Brock from a breeder to a doctor... It had so many amazing moments.
Just imagine... You have been traveling Kanto for a while, and you have 7 Badges, You decide the Pewter Gym will be your last Gym badge, so you can qualify for the Indigo Plateau Pokemon League Competition. You meet Brock and get right to the battle after finding put the Rules are 3 on 3. Brock starts with this Blissey that knows Stealth Rock, and with the Combination of the Entry Hazard, his Geodude with the Gyro Ball counter shield, and Brock's Mega Steelix... You lose your Gym Battle, and you haven't earned your 8th badge quite yet... All because Brock started with a Blissey!
As strange as it seems, I feel like Brock's pokemon in the Sinnoh Region is the equivalent to a father three children. Croagunk is the loner "older brother" who does his own thing but tries to keep his family out of trouble. Sudowudo is the middle child, happy go lucky and protective of his little sister. And Happini, the little sister, became the happy cheerful Pokemon like Sudowudo, a caring and well verses doctor like Brock and a fierce battler ready to fight without hesitation from Croagunk.
Reminder that Brock's dream was originally to be a Pokemon breeder (because he loves caring for baby Pokemon) it's kind of sad Brock was always such a pill in how he reacted to ladies, because he really was a sweet guy.
@@ProfessorAlexSilver But like all of the other girls who liked Brock, he forgets about her & moves on to another pretty face.🙄 *Autumn the milk maid loved him, but despite bonding with her & being the same age as him.....he still goes after her older sisters because they remind him of the seasons where girls wear less clothing. Classy.😒 *Then there was this Flint fangirl with two Dittos. Just when you think was going to confess to her that he likes her too, another girl walks pass by him & he ditchs [the Flint fangirl] for her.🤦🏼♀️ And that one-shot relationship was creepy because Olivia is basically an adult, while Brock is still 15.
That was hilarious, honestly. It's crazy that Happiny had that kind of strength in the anime, but I also think that it was made even funnier because you don't expect a Pokemon like Happiny or her evolved forms to be anywhere near that strong
Brock is just the best Pokémon trainer/breader/doctor if I was a Pokémon trainer I'd wanna be friends with Brock. I don't think Ash realises how lucky he is to have a friend like Brock to depend on, but I do think Ash appreciates Brock friendship tho. Yet another brilliant video thanks professor 😊 much appreciated 🥰
@@ProfessorAlexSilver ooooh I'm excited for that. That was one of my most upsetting points to the DP series, they never gave that icon of a Croagunk his shining come back moment.
@@lilylopnco that's weak payback moment. Very unsatisfying cuz all he did was punch him. Toxicroak doesn't faint or anything he is just called back to retreat to a helicopter and that's it.
Yes! Blissey! Next to Brock's Croagunk, his Happiny was one of favorite of his Pokémon from Diamond and Pearl. Glad to see that she have fully evolved.
I remember watching Happiny’s debut episode and hearing Meowth saying she used the move Slam. Might’ve misheard it though. In terms of who should be covered next, maybe Dawn’s Piplup?
I ABSOLUTELY ADORED BROCKS HAPPINY! it was soo cute, carefree yet caring, and confident! I'm so happy she fully evolved an is one of Brocks strongest partners still💕
I feel like the reason Happiny could lift somethings but not others is cause it was abusing the move gravity a move that it learns if it’s hatched from an egg so the ball situation she couldn’t break it cause she has a false idea that she’s strong when in reality she’s just able to use gravity at will without knowing and she can make anything light whenever she wants but if it doesn’t have a good shape it’s harder to control where it goes like the rock she struggled to lift
I always play chansey in all games I’ve played. Didn’t realize how much happiny was in the show! Nice work to list all the episodes that must be some work
@@ProfessorAlexSilver I know this isn’t your thing, but do you mind making vids about people like n, butch and Cassidy after you’ve covered a reasonable amount of Pokémon?
Can’t wait till u get to noivern and just to clear the air noivern isn’t a terrible battler he was just coddled as a baby lol so he didn’t get to battle a lot but the ones he did he did his best and pretty good most of them were tied and he beat Zapdos only lost like maybe twice
Been waiting for this videos, just because Brock’s relationship with his Happiny, later turned Blissey, is one of the best in the shows ongoing run :).
I think both Chansey and Blissey are massively more powerful than they let on. I mean in the entire franchise you never see Team Rocket or any of the evil teams try and steal from a Nurse Joy. Its like they openly fear the power of a chansey or blissey. Which to me says a lot .
@@claymathewselevator8121 They are an absolute unit for competitive often underestimated. And learned to be feared. Arguably could be one of the few pokemon that even could be on like even Cynthia's like re balanced team. As much of Cynthia's play style is pretty much the most bulky powerhouse pokemon that aren't legends or mythicals.
How foretelling of Brock’s future as a Pokémon doctor that his latest catch before making that decision was obtaining the baby form of nurse joys most iconic partner.
I still cannot believe that the creators made Chansey evolves into Blissey. Chansey is so much better than her evolution Blissey.. this is OLM Inc needs to have editors...
@@claymathewselevator8121 Probably above even that level, I'd say. Do remember that she was able to lift an entire frozen lake as just a Happiny, so just imagine the feats she is capable of now that she's fully evolved!
I remember back when it was a happily and for a Pokémon that small, it could pick up heavy things like ash’s Grotle and a big boulders and I was amazed by it surprised and impressed by it too. 🤩 and i have not yet seen the episode where it evolves into blissey yet I’m I’ve heard it was in journeys and I couldn’t find any place of where I could watch the episode brock and his blissey returned in?
There was a gametheory episode about how Nurse Joy is a pokemon, and evolved from chansey. If that's true, Brock picked the best partner. That would be hilarious.
I'm glad to see Happiny and Papa Brock able to accomplish there dream that they been working so hard to succeed ❤️. And now i want to see a video of her Big Brother Sudo to be the next one to be tackled. Along with a Brock's Croagunz return Journey video.
Considering the power his Happiny had, his Blissey should be a beast, a monster, nay, a God! I couldn't help but feel slightly dissapointed at the lack of God-like powers.
