thanks for the memories , was there only once in the early 70's

I remember my first visit in 1975 and couldn't get over a great time I had. It wasn't just an amusement park, it offered super entertainment, excellent food and European culture. My Dad asked me why preferred Busch Gardens to other parks in Virginia. My answer was the atmosphere, food and the architecture of the villages.

I live in Yorktown pretty close to the park. This is one of the best Busch Gardens videos I have ever seen on RU-vid.

I think from the two Bush Gardens Parks Williamsburg is the better one from it's ride/scenery/music and events. I remember going as a kid and seeing the park evolve and over the years and see it grow. The Company honestly cares about the park and it's theme and they do well to make it feel special like you belong there. I just wish other Parks would put the same effort in as this park however I guess there can only be one Bush Gardens Williamsburg.
