I didn't even know this game existed until Chicago gaming company announced the remake of cactus canyon. Which hopefully one day I'll be able to play it. Because their versions of attack from Mars and medieval madness are truly awesome. And the sad part is cactus canyon code update was done by lymen sheats. Before he past on a few weeks ago. RIP LYMAN SHEATS.
I didn’t even know until Chicago announced it either! They’re doing a great job. It’s awesome we still have Lyman projects to look forward too. RIP Lyman
Super informative and interesting to learn its history! I finally started to get to play it on vpx and I hadn't even noticed the missing match sequence until you mentioned it! Wow, very kool
Great job on the editing. Since this appears to be your second pinball history video, I recommend putting them in a playlist. I went looking for one, hoping to find more great pinball videos. I did find the Medieval Madness one - also a good video. Keep up the good work.
Love the pinball history videos. My favorite pinballs of all time is Freddy's Nightmare on Elm Street and Black Knight 2000. Hope you do history of those someday
That’s why I did the nine to have special features on cactus Canyon when pinball 2000 was right around the corner preferring to save special features for the new systems
Cactus Canyon was one of favorite tables when I owned my visual pinball machine. Since I sold it months ago, I've missed playing this table. Thank you for the well narrated and layed out video. Liked and subscribed!
Nice summary, thank you. I love my CC and I've lavished lots of extras on it over the years. Incidentally, you don't need a laptop PC - A little Raspberry Pi 3 or 4 runs the continued code very well.
I never played this... but was always intrigued by it. Looked fun, but oh so expensive due to it's rarity. Last weekend I played the remake by Chicago Pinball. HOLY WOW. Just excellent. I used to think the remakes were a lesser product, but this thing is NOT. It's great.
Kevin, These videos are fabulous. Thank you for your hard work and research. I would love to see you work your way down the Top 25 on Pinside. I love hearing the tiny facts that no onw knows. Great work! Subscription granted!
I had a high end pins example I paid $8600 for 18 years ago. I just bought the SE edition for $8955 all in. What I really want is an Addams Family. I hope to hold onto this new in the box until I can trade or sell it to accomplish my goal. That is of course if my 8 year old stops begging me to open it. Has anyone here ever bought a brand new pin in the box and set it up? EUPHORIA!!
