After reading an article in the German news magazine Spiegel Online about the development of CO2 concentration in the Earth's atmosphere over the last 66 million years, I wanted to know more and learn more about the background of this story.
Here is a link to the article:

Prof. Dr. Bärbel Hönisch is a fellow German and a professor at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory which is an institute of Columbia University.
In the video, she will answer many questions and we can learn about her fascination for CO2 or "Paleo CO2" how the scientists call it.

We learn how they measure the historical concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere and we can learn about the mass extinction of the dinosaurs and that during that time the CO2 levels were supposed to be much higher than now.
We will learn why CO2 plays an important role and that the history and evolution of mankind was so far in CO2 levels between 180 and 280 ppm and that we are now in the era of the anthropocene where levels are beyond 400 ppm. This will have devastating consequences.
Finally, we talk about measures what to do against global warming and what kind of technologies and innovation might help. Some interesting parallels to our work at PDIE Group as they had been working with a group in Oman which had actually won the #earthshotprize and is led by our friend Talal Hasan called 44.01.
Here is the website about the consortium of 80 scientists who are contributing to measurements of historical CO2 concentration. There is a great video on that site which you can watch here:
